ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Do not go here truthfully it’s worth driving 10 minutes more to go to Angels Tijuana Tacos and get some real Authentic food. Every single person in there except one young man who wears his mask, has terrible customer service skills. I know sometimes there is a language barrier so I can see getting frustrated at that but I speak Spanish and made life easy and still got an attitude from everyone. The restroom was out of soap in both men’s and women’s. The food is not even mid it’s worse than mid honestly. They don’t know how to serve their customers whatsoever. I asked for 0 onions in my son’s burrito and they proceeded to put extra onion and not mention the fact that there’s onion in EVERYTHING here. They didn’t reimburse me. They didn’t make me a bean burrito as I asked for a replacement because “it’s made with onion also.” With the worst attitude this was told. These people hate their jobs clearly. I don’t know what’s wrong with the place or maybe it’s the customers but wow this is ridiculous. I’d rather not order Mexican food and go to In n Out across the street because they would NEVER give anybody an attitude. You have to request EVERYTHING here. Down to some napkins. I went to ask for extra and the lady LOOKED AT ME LIKE I WAS NUTS. Absolutely insane. I can’t believe these people get the amount of customers that they have. Please find elsewhere to go if you thought this was a good place, it’s not lol. Not worth the headache. Not worth the money whatsoever, I could definitely say this is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and that’s crazy to say. I work customer facing as a sales person and would NEVER treat my customers with disrespect and attitude. Terrible service, train your people or something. Seems like they need attitude classes or pay for all of their therapy I don’t...
Read moreFirst visit here. Wow. I've heard so much about this place over the years but never had a chance to visit. King Taco lives up to the hype.
I was the first customer of the day. I walk in and there are 45 tables waiting to serve people. It's 9:00 am so all the tables are empty. The place is immaculate.
I order two suadero tacos, beef from around the breast area of the cow, one carnitas, and one Al pastor taco. They have a choice of mild green sauce and spicy red. Spicy is the only way I go. The clerk looks doubtful and asks if I'm sure. You know me. . .
They have Pepsi products and agua fresca. I order a large tamarindo.
The food is prepared. They call number 1 and I get my plate. Four beautifully prepared tacos. I go to eat them. The suadero is so tender, just perfect. Don't hesitate to order suadero if you've never heard of it. It is beef and I've always found it a bit more tender and juicy than asada. The Al pastor, Lebanese inspired beef, was very good. I was impressed with the tangy fruitful nature of the beef. The carnitas was decent. Let's be honest it is hard to get fantastic carnitas unless you make it at home.
The spicy red had a Nice kick. If heat bothers you then go for the green. But don't be scared of the red, it is more Serrano hot than habanero hot. I didn't ask what chili they use.
The tamarindo is perfect. Tamarindo might be my favorite soft drink all time and King Taco does it well. So thank you for that.!!
I'll attach a couple of photos that will hopefully inspire you to visit a...
Read moreKing taco is one of my personal favorite places to get tamales and my significant other would tell you that their burritos are magnificent. The location of this place is in a really busy part of town so lunch-rush and dinner-rush is usually a common occurrence in this facility. I have personally waited anywhere from 10 mins to about 1 and a Half Hours. On average I feel like the wait time is usually about 30 mins; now this time used is for the process of waiting in line and then waiting for the food itself to be prepared. My personal experiences have found that mornings or weekdays (as long as it's not around lunch hour) are typically the fastest. My family typically eats here about once a month and we always order to go but because the wait time can vary I can say the inside is well kept and cleaned all the time. I would also like to add that wait time for food can SOMETIMES vary based on what you order; my family's order usually is about 6 tamales, 1 quesadilla, and 1 burrito however sometimes if we only order tamales in my opinion the order was completed in half the time. I can't say that this is always the case because I don't order just tamales often and when the line is extremely long you can't ever really pinpoint if you skipped over people or if you just waited so long that the flow of orders taken and completed are just consistent if that makes sense. Like I stated earlier in this review if you aren't looking to wait then you might want to try them at one of their less busy hours because the...
