Tom's Original Super Hamburgers — Restaurant in Fontana

Just arrived first time eating at this place. No wait odered the #30 fish taco combo includes rice and beans. To my surprise also included guacamole and salsa. Under $10.00 including a coke. It's a hot day about 93 deg outside and it comfortable inside probably about 78 degrees. Sat down at a table and had to wipe the crumbs of the table. Wow the food came fast before I finished the first part of my review. Time to eat. Well I spent a couple minutes writing this but the food was cold. Can't complain about the portions a very robust meal. The fish taco has Luke warm fish "not fresh out of the fryer but still very tasty. Just the right amount of breading. It came with lettuce tomato seasons and a good Mao sauce. The rice is basic Mexican rice but still good. I added the green salsa before I even tasted it, I always add salsa to my rice if available. Very tasty but could have arrived at the table better than Luke warm. The refried beans have two cheese and tasted good. Just finished my first coke and had to go to the counter for a refill. Waited less than 60 seconds. Ok finished about 3/4 of my meal and getting Realy full. Not disappointed with any thing but the temperature of the food when served. Don't expect table service other than bringing you your food after you have placed your order at the counter. Appears to be a safe and clean place to dine at lunch. This is south Fontana and mid day. I did not finish all my food i just got full, more food than I can eat but not enough for left overs. Decided to taste the red salsa just for referance before I go. WOW, Realy good did I say hot and spicy. Had to get one more coke refill to cool my mouth, no kidding. Over all I highly recommend this place at least the fish taco combo. Good counter service, good food. I would have given them 5 star but the food should have been warmer and if they had full table service this would defently be a 5 star...

My family and I always went to this restaurant back when the benches had old antique cars, it was amazing. Since then we've been there twice and the lady that took our orders has messed up twice and given on top of it all gave us attitude when we said something about it. I even asked for the manager and she didn't even bother to call him then and there I had to ask for him after we where all done eating. After I told her I wanted to talk to the manager every person that came in was greeted and was well taken care of. Which upset me even more. I wish I could say that the cashiers attitude was the only thing but even the food lost quality. My mother ordered a burrito de carne asada and the only thing it had was beans and rice. At the end we talked to a manager and he was really nice apologized and thank me for the feedback, under certain circumstances he said he was trying to make a change I appreciated what he had to say. I work with customers all the time and honestly a good company only gets better when their customer service does. As an employee we are there to make the customer want to come back not just because of the food because of the service to me that's what a business should stride for. With that being said I appreciate the managers apology and will be coming back, hoping next time customer service is all about...

So I used to love this place when it was Toms. Idk if it changed owners or just the name or what but now it's kind of sucky. I went in with my family because we got some coupons in the mail. I was supposed to get a breakfast plate for $5 and my mom n sister were supposed to get a plate with pancakes, egg, bacon, sausage and hash browns. It was so difficult to order period. The cashier kept changing things up and she ended up saying the total was $24. Seemed just, but she then suggested we get only one stack of pancakes because they were big so that we would play less ($17). We said yes that fine as long as my mom and sister each got their own set of eggs, bacon, etc. she agreed. Once we received our food it ended up being only plate in total for my mom and sister to share and it didn't have hash browns. I told her we had specifically clarified we needed separate plates for my mom and sister and that each plate should have came with hash browns because the menu says "all breakfasts Come with hash browns." She said that wasn't true and I should re read the sign. Well I did and I was right and she ended up giving us all the missing food,but by that time our other food was cold. Overall the food was good (minus the cold) but it was just too much...
