A total disappointment! We went here to celebrate my brother's birthday, big mistake the service was horrible. They served our food item by item all separate. My mom ordered a molcajete and it was the last item to get to the table and when they brought it out the chorizo was undercooked and cold they brought the rice and beans plate but not the tortillas. We had to flag down a server because no one came back with the tortillas or to check on us. By then my mom's food was all cold we asked for a manager well he just did not care and was rude when my mom explained the situation he seemed bothered and just started giving her excuses, at that point the rest of us were done eating she pointed that and he was like so? My mom asked him to take that item off our bill since the rest of us were done with our food and in a very rude way he said I will but I'm taking the molcajete back to the kitchen. Ok?? We never got a refill to our drinks we told him that too and he just did not care he just was very prompt to remove the molcajete from the table but not to get us refills or send someone to do it. We were stunned by his attitude and carelessness. He never apologize, he just made up excuses, he did not gave a solution to our problem. He never came back after that, he just did not care. The worst of all is that this young guy the manager on duty is the owners son, unfortunately this are the issues that you will find when you go to a family operated/owned restaurant. Careless, not attentive, unprofessional and rude management and staff. All this people rating and saying they got great service I will love to know where when and by who. Ours was a very bad experience. Sticking up to Mariscos el Pacifico...
Read moreI was looking forward to this new restaurant, but was extremely disappointed. I ordered a "molcajete mixto" and the flavor was great until I noticed a hair in it. That wasn't the worst part. The worst part was the waiter. Her name is "Erika" or "Elika". I am not the type to complain but anyone would get grossed out with a hair. I kindly called the waiter and showed her the hair. She looked at me dismissively and asked what I wanted to do. I told her to please take it away which she did, but she walked away right away and started helping other people. I was expecting an apology at least or for her to offer a new plate as she should or a refund. She stated in a rude tone that she didn't know what to do since managers were not there and walked away. At the end she did give a refund but because we had to call her over again, and her attitude and dismissiveness was the worse. So unprofessional. To the owner: this restaurant has really good potential but with the attitude of that server you will lose clients since she does not have the professionalism, self control, and problem solving capabilities to be a decent server. If you don't mind losing clients then keep her. I left with a bad taste from the hair but with a worse taste from that server. Also: the cook walked by and had no apron or head covering. Especially in these times of the pandemic, there needs to be stricter...
Read moreWe went to this restaurant for lunch to try the Molcajete Jimenez! We ordered the two-person Molcajete, which came with two plates of rice, cheese & beans, aguacate, and a salad. The Molcajete Jimenez was loaded up with plenty of butterfly-opened shrimp, two big grilled thin sliced pieces of chicken, two grilled steaks, two grilled nopales, two slices of cheese, and all swimming in a bath of hot salsa. They also bring you out hand-made tortillas of corn and flour. It all came together great! The staff is very nice and attentive. The place looks like it has live music on the weekends and they have a full bar too. In the end, the Molcajete didn't disappoint and I recommend this restaurant for your...
