This location keeps getting worse and worse.! Their rating on here should tell you everything for you not to even get close to this place but some people were fans of Yoshinoya and we like their food so we keep trying. Now with Automated system AI to take your order at the drive thru which is my issue for today. Not sure if other locations but this one in Fontana has the fame for taking to long to process orders through the drive-thru I got in line with like 5 cars in front of me the finally came my time to order and this automated system started taking my order; an XL plate meats rice and veggies , a Large plate with meat, rice and veggies a side of their Tokio fried chicken which after a recent trip to Japan this one come really close to the one I tried in Tokyo. I also order a mango lemonade. The machine Repeated my whole order and asked if it was correct and then gave my total of $32 something dollars and started moving to the window, about 20 minutes later I got to the window and the Lady ( Maria )is telling me if an order that is not mine I told her what it was and she replied by saying I don't have ANY order like that on my screen. Can you imaging after waiting for so long they don't have my order ready.! On top of that she tells me That I'm not allowed to order at the window. I was like really you think that I stopped at the freaking menu and speaker at the drive thru not to order anything and wait till I get to the window. She's calling some guy Chris or not sure what his name was I believe may be a supervisor but his totally ignoring her. She keeps telling I don't have nothing and finally admits they've been having issues with the computer takjng your orders. And keeps repeating I cannot order at the window I said that is not my problem I did ordered at the drive thru and it even repeated my order and gave me a total to pay So finally se inputs my orders in just to start fighting with the stupid cooks that don't want to prepare the order, and are giving her a hard time for taking the order. I think she pick form other orders to get mine ready while I'm wait g longer at the window and the third car behind me starts to hunk..she never ask me to move to the front of the building like some times other restaurants do, not to hold the line to which I would gladly move but since she didn't asked I waited there, it isn't my fault after all. Was thing of leaving but I thought I waited already like 40 minutes just to leave empty handed? Finally get my orders and leave still hearing the lady trying to explain to the cooks that they have an issue with their stupid machine taking their orders Which is funny to me because her and the so called Chris were wearing Headsets so they heard what I ordered. Unless is just for show. I parked on the aside of the building to check my order and was missing the vegetables and she gave me the wrong sauce I order for the chicken but I didn't feel like going inside and ask for them So this place is a hit or miss but now that I see their reviews here seems like is just misses. Hopefully they do something about it. Because they have...
Read moreI've enjoyed Yoshinoya's menu for several years. However, as with most fast food franchises, the food quality has declined. One of my favorite menu items was the Asian BBQ wings. I usually ordered 4 meaty wings that were bone-in drummettes with a dark, sweet, and tangy Asian BBQ sauce. Then to top it off the wings came dusted with sesame seeds and green onions. Great presentation and delicious! Today, though, I have no idea what happened to this item. All I can say is they looked like rejected chicken mcnuggets. The sauce was not very good and they looked like the cook just threw them in the box. Very unappetizing and a waste of money. I'm very disappointed in my order today and can't say I'll be back anytime soon.
This is an updated review of Yoshinoya from 5/14/20. In case one thought this chain couldn't have fallen further in food quality and customer service, one should think again. First, how can a restaurant, and I use the term loosely, advertise "Teriyaki chicken wings" and serve what I received? When this item was first offered these were actually very flavorful chicken wings. Now? They're cheap, dry chicken nuggets with disgusting, salty sauce thrown on top. This is not only false advertising but disrespectful to the consumer especially in these current times. However, why should I be surprised by this chain's lack of concern for their customers. I'm upset with myself for being fat and lazy and not cooking own ACTUAL chicken wings. If I wanted more flavorful chicken nuggets I would have visited McDonalds. There are no words to describe the stingy servings, poor quality food and customer service. My last thoughts are these: if the county says masks are optional then don't have a high school drop out lecture me on how I won't be served next time without a mask because there will not be a next time so don't sweat it. You may be putting your staff and company at risk of law suits and other unfortunate consequences if you require something that isn't required by the government. Lastly, due to the economic climate where money is truly tight, I urge anyone reading this review to save your hard earned money and don't be lazy like I was. Visit an actual Asian restaurant and get decent food for your money. If you don't give these dishonest and disrespectful businesses your money they'll either change their practices or, hopefully, go out of business as...
Read moreWorst experience ever!!! And this was my first and last time here. My experience was through the drive thru, however I still had to go inside. I get to the speaker and it takes them a while probably a minute. Now it might not seem like much but in a drive thru a minute is a long time. Little did I know that was going to be the highlight of my experience. After placing my order i wait a good 15minutes. Good thing my phone had battery and my car had gas. So I put my car in park, put Netflix on and chilled, but didn't have snacks or a drink. So finally I get to the window I pay I am handed my food, I ask for hot sauce and the gentleman at the window says we dont have hot sauce. I'm Mexican so I love my good spicy. Anyways o well he says that's everything I drive off. And they had not given me my drink, great!! I call the number no answer. I call again nothing it literally stopped ringing and went into silent. I cal again nothing. I then drive back, get off my car walk in and I tell Gina what happened and if I could have a teriyaki sauce. She says that will be 5 something cents. Yea I didn't pay attention because I could not believe she was still going to charge me. I told her really I waited forever in your drive thru, didn't get my complete order and you want to charge me for teriyaki sauce. She turns around asks the kitchen crew for teriyaki sace gives it to me with attitude doesn't even give eye contact when i grab it. I say thank and I didn't get a you are welcome. Again never...
