My wife and I had a Drs Appt at Kaiser and wanted to eat lunch before. We went in and ordered two 4 Taco specials, we found a booth. We had to get napkins and clean the table and benches. Our number was 55. We waited for 20 minutes no order. I went to check to see when the order would be ready as they had called many numbers past 55. The gentleman said tacos weren’t his area. I waited the lady who was busy making an order the trying to correct the mistakes. The lady who placed the order had to come back to get her burrito. I asked about my order, she said she did t know about it. Then left me standing with no answer. I showed her my receipt. She made the tacos, we didn’t get the chips or beans and rice my wife went back and showed her te receipt. We finally after 40 minutes got the rest of our order. I spoke to the manager who said he was sorry but they are busy. I told him we will never come back here again he didn’t seem to care. Just walked away. My personal opinion is this is the worst dining experience I have had in years. As we were leaving the lady with the burrito problem was telling the customer who just came in how bad the service was and to make sure you check your order because you don’t get it all. We will never...

I first got hooked on place because of their Torta Cubana. Each layer is perfectly cut so that each bite gives an equal bit of creamy cheese, crunchy milanesa empanizada, and salty ham. Pair it with their fiery red hot sauce, and you have the perfect meal (just be careful, the orange-red sauce is so hot that we spilled some on our driveway, and we still can't get it out!).
Their tamales used to be really good, and we would order them every Christmas. More recently, they have started loading them up with masa and skimping on the meat, so we have decided to remove them from our holiday catering tradition. Their ordering isn't too reliable either. Part of what soured us on the Christmas tamales is that we placed a big order one time, and they had no trace of our order when we got there. We have had this happen in other times of year for smaller orders.
I would still recommend checking this out, as it always has a nice atmosphere. The perpetually long line moves quickly, and you can see the people cooking on the open kitchen. They also have a nice display of their pan dulce that can be perused...
Read moreCome here 3 times a month never really huge issues that made me want to write a review but for today I had to. Came here 25th of December for some reason their sweet bread was 1 dollar each! The only bread that didn't have a price increase was their bollio 4 for 1 dollar. There wasn't anything posted near their bread or door entrance indicating a price increase. When I brought my concern in the checkout I was given the answer that for today sweet bread was a dollar each and some went up to 1.50 so either they are ripping customers off to cash in the money themselves in the end of the night or the practice to this business is to price increase whenever they feel they can capitalize on the day of a holiday. If that's the scenario do better as a business and advice customers or your unprofessional practices never coming here to support in the holidays. Extremely disappointed in this and hope customers are advised ahead of time of...
