He held me back for my first belt for 6 months when I was more than capable of doing my kata, in fact I was showing new students the first kata and he tested them before me. Do I feel my son is in safe, competent, caring, and capable hands, ABSOLUTELY. I have seen tremendous growth in my son’s confidence since attending class with Ray. Read moreRay Rice has been a big influence with my two kids especially my wild soon to be 6 year old. She has taken her under his wing and she is learning fast and doing so well. He has helped my son focus. Ray takes the time that is needed with the younger kids and really works with them. I don’t think I could imagine having my kids in any other martial arts class.
