Stopped in for the first time with my daughter because of Trip Advisor recommendations. I ordered the hamburger steak with chilli and cheese, fries and a salad, my daughter got a chilli cheeseburger. I ordered my wife a grilled chicken salad and a veggie plate consisting of Mac n cheese, broccoli casserole and sweet potato casserole. I also got a small side of chicken salad and pimento cheese for my wife to try along with a 16oz of their house made ranch dressing. There were no complaints at all. Everything was delicious. The young lady who waited on us was very friendly as was everybody we encountered. To the waitress with the tattoo on her shoulder, if you're in the market for a future ex-husband, let me know. The staff was friendly. The only reason I deducted a star is cuz when we first arrived at the restaurant they must serve a great deal of locals they assumed we knew the procedure and knew exactly what we wanted to eat wanted to know if we were ready to place our order soon as we got in the door and then walked off. Not until we turn to the left and thought well maybe we set ourselves did we see the sign that says order and pay for food first but then after that they gave us a paper menu. I got a dry hamburger steak with nothing on it, no roll, no cheese, they didn’t have gravy for it so just a dry meat patty. I also got mash potatoes. I added a drink. I left a $3 tips at the table. Went to the register to pay and she rings me up at $14.75. Where is this hamburger steak special that is posted at the road? I was in and out in 15 mins, had the worst lunch ever and was over charged. The food sucked. I didn’t even eat half of it. Arbys and Hardee’s is right next to it. Definitely should have gone there.
