OK so this is a PRE WARNING that this review will be extensive but informative. Let me tell you about MISS KRYSTI. There have been numerous of times where her desserts have snatched my soul and many others. I have 2 examples that would convince you to order from her and only her from now on.
1st scenario, [background story] this is 3 years ago at my college graduation.. I ordered a strawberry filled vanilla cake from Sweet Cecilias. I've had her desserts before and I knew they were good but this type of cake was the talk of the whole restaurant. Within one bite, every single person including every single waiter at this restaurant destroyed this cake not once but twice. This was the 1st time in history that I haven't taken a cake home. Can you imagine offering half of your cake to a restaurant staff because they're 1st try brought all of the staff back to our table just for a second bite. My mom being a diabetic who does not like cake at all had probably about 3 or 4 but we're not judging her... yet!
If that's not enough to convince you the 2nd scenario will. My birthday was a few weeks ago and my cousin decided that he wanted to surprise me with my ultimate favorite dessert aka cheesecake. Because of my work schedule, Krysti delivered my cake to my job (she so nice). First off the cake was gorgeous and I felt some type of way of cutting it but I couldn't help myself. THE DISRESPECT! This cake was a peach cobbler cheesecake with a cinnamon dulce Graham cracker crust (I think that's what it was) but that's what it tasted like and I'm not mad. I realized I could not pack this cake in my car so in my so I ended up sharing it with my coworkers and my boss. When I tell you this was the 1st time I've ever experienced the soul coming out of corporate America. When I say corporate America "I hope you understand what I mean?" The ancestors traveled from my body to them and made them stop or if it wasn't that, they did the double look. It's gotten to the point where I'm hollering at them because they are literally scraping the plate and licking a perfectly clean spoon as if there were bits of cake left in it. I had people saying they don't even like cheesecake or sweets and saying "you know that will be the one exception". When I tell you Krysti and Nana are in the kitchen talking to the ancestors, talking to God himself and the disciples because when I tell her that she is disrespectful to my soul, I'm telling you she's disrespectful to all of our souls and therefore we need to experience this anointing.
I warned ya! Now stop playing with your life and your taste buds AND DON'T YOU DARE TO TO PUBLIX EVER AGAIN! She will not disappoint!
Okay...
Read moreI had the pleasure of getting a box of treats shipped from Sweet Ceceliaâs. Let me tell you, that box went on a great adventure. It was clearly mishandled along the way. Upon receiving the box, I texted the owner and told her I was afraid to open it because the box was banged up. I just knew I was going to be looking at crumbled goodness. I opened the box and to my surprise, only one cookie was broken. Everything else was intact! It took nearly a week to arrive and everything is still so fresh and moist. Krysti really places a lot of care and love into everything she does, from baking right on down to packaging. I am eating a cookie as I type this and OMG, it is delicious! If you want to taste a little piece of heaven on Earth, donât second guess this bakery; this is THE...
Read moreKrysti's professionalism was evident from the very beginning. I had never ordered a custom cake before, but I had seen her work and just KNEW I wouldnât be disappointed. Her dedication to her craft shone through her correspondence as I explained my vision for such a special occasionâŚshe worked with me and my fluctuating ideas, exuding patience and it was clear that she is truly passionate about what she does. The birthday cake she created for me was not only beautifully decorated but also tasted absolutely amazing. I honestly hate I didnât order a bigger cake. But I will definitely be ordering from her again...
