F.C.hibachi express — Restaurant in Forrest City

Ok place for "hibachi". Think Chinese buffet style stuff, but a bit fresher. Nothing bad to say, but nothing great either, just a good place. It is attached to a gas station so that kind of explains a few things.

Ordered steak and chicken. Servings are large, cooked to order, served with rice and 3 veggies (yes, 3 brocolli flowerettes). Sauce seems like it's out of a can, steak was REALLY tough.

Problem was, price was expensive in my opinion for what was received. The meal of steak and chicken, drink (tea) and a California roll was $28. Just not worth it imo. Again it's ok, but for that price at a gas station, ...

We are traveling to Arkansas for a long weekend from Atlanta and always pass through this area on I-40. There are pretty limited eating choices for a pretty good stretch of the drive. As a result we are always interested in new options. Well this time we were lucky. We found this brand new Hibachi restaurant that just opened. Just wow. The food from Hibachi Express, an unassuming little storefront adjacent to a gas station right off the highway, produces food that is just as good as my favorite sit-down hibachi restaurant. If you're hungry and looking for a convenient stop, this is your place. My boyfriend and I both had the chicken and shrimp hibachi and it was phenomenal.
