I come here frequently, maybe a couple times a month. The pizza is good, other locations are normally as expected with no complaints. Unfortunately tho, I just had the weirdest experience and I’m kind of let down by the customer service here on top of the quality of food. Especially since I’m a frequent customer. I order the same thing every time, a thin crust pepperoni with extra green peppers. The last 3 or 4 times I’ve gotten pizza, there’s been barely any green peppers on my pizza and I didn’t want that to happen again, so after placing my order online, I called to ask for “extra extra” green peppers. I told them I’d happily pay for it. I explained that the last few times ordering, I definitely didn’t have extra peppers and I just wanted to ensure that I got it this time. The guy on the phone put me on hold, and after a couple minutes he returned and said “I’m sorry ma’am but there’s no way to quantify extra extra green peppers so we will not be able to do that for you” I laughed because I thought it was a joke. It wasn’t. Im A paying customer asking to double the amount of a pizza topping and they straight up said no?? I guess customer service isn’t a priority to them. It’s really unfortunate because I’ve used them a couple times a month for years now. (The Lemay location for the last 4 months) I’m extremely let down. What happened to customer service? I REALLY don’t want to find a new pizza place, but maybe it’s time to move on.
A** Edited to say that I went in to get the pizza and (for the 4th time IN A ROW) it didn’t even have a normal amount on toppings. The toppings were very minimal. I showed it to them and asked for them to put more on it. (I had a sick kid waiting in the car so this was already frustrating. The guy left the pizza sitting on the counter where I set it down with the lid open for 8 minutes while he “cooked” more green peppers. He grabbed the pizza, took it back and put more on, and gave me the pizza (now cold) I opened it to raw green peppers on top of a cold pizza. What are you doing guys??? I never had these issues at any other location. Ever.
I don’t make much money, I’m on a budget, and getting pizza is a treat for us. How is it that EVRY TIME I come here, there are issues? And why would a worker let my pizza sit open on the counter for that long and get cold? Where is the common sense?? I wasn’t offered any time of partial refund or anything. Every part of this experience was horrible. I’ll never go back here. This location sucks and it being the 4th time in a row, and before that almost always having issues. Read moreI am writing this review, not because of the timeliness of my order or because of a perfect ordering experience, but because of the exact opposite. Tonight I had actually waited an extra 10-15 minutes for my pizza and contacted the store multiple times because of a flaw in their order tracking system. I had believed that my pizza had just disappeared and I was beginning to become frustrated.
However, I am leaving a review for 5 stars because of how the situation was handled by my Driver Samuel and the staff that I was in contact with at the store. The first contact that I made with the store about my order the person working was very concerned for me and made my order feel like a priority. Informing me that the system sometimes makes errors and that he wanted me to call back in 5-10 minutes. After waiting 10 minutes I gave the store a call back and spoke to a different employee. This time he had also seemed very concerned and apologized for the long wait time and system error; apparently tonight was a high volume very busy night. He had regrettably told me to wait another 10 minutes and after that point they said that they would give the driver a call. About 5 minutes later Sameul, the driver, gives me a call and lets me know that he is just moments away. Upon meeting him he greets me with the biggest smile and apologizes immediately for the tardiness of this order. He then gives me two free coupons for some desserts/appetizers and continues to inform me about his error. This to me made a world of a difference and made me feel very happy and understanding. His personality genuinely shined though and his customer service was outstanding in this unfortunate situation. Throughout the entire time I constantly felt as though the staff was concerned about me and my order and it made the world of a difference. Read moreSo I worked at this location while I was in high school, and I had a tremendous respect for my coworkers and the management there. Since I live nearby, it has always been my go-to for pizza, ever since I worked there. They really had their priorities straight, especially regarding customer service. However, that seems to have sadly changed. Last Friday my wife placed an order, and one of the pizzas was inedible (she ordered a gluten free crust, but got a regular crust). She called the store, but after she explained what happened, she was rudely told that there was nothing they could do about it, and they hung up on her. So she called again, and asked to speak to a manager. The same person who had answered the phone earlier just told her "no" and hung up on her again. Maybe this is a "one bad apple kind of situation", but we'll definitely think twice before ordering again, and I'd recommend that others be wary as well.
EDIT: Decided to give them another chance at non-peak hours, so I ordered a pan pizza and a gluten free one. Toppings, etc was fine, but the pan pizza was super doughy and floppy, not even cooked through, and it was certainly not crisp in any capacity. Super disappointing...I will not be ordering from this...
