Fort Fun — Attraction in Fort Collins

After the place came highly recommended, we took our four kids and two of their friends yesterday to celebrate my son's 12th birthday. We didn't do a birthday party package, just the deluxe day packages. The cleanliness could use improvement. (Let me clarify ibfeel this was mostly a staffing issue)I was there for 6 and a half hours and during that time there was only 1 working sink in the women's bathroom. One was visibly clogged and the other covered up by a bag. (Needs maintenance of some kind? Because every time I came in there was a staff member sweeping the bathroom)The hand sanitizer by the front of the arcade sat empty the entire time. The golf clubs were not cleaned between each use, the tables only wiped down if by a miracle someone had a spare moment. Mostly, I feel this place was seriously under staffed. After being there an hour we stopped by the food place. It wasn't busy during this time. Our large group of 8 consisting of 2 adults and 6 kids ranging from 6 to 14 years old were all up there. I began going one by one listing off the orders for each kid (not fast, I specifically verified the order with each kid before repeating it back to the cashier.) During this time I'm noticing the cashier is not punching anything into the machine but they weren't saying anything to me?? So I kept going then told the kids to sit down because they were all hot and thirsty. Then I gave mine and my husband's order and only after I finished everything the cashier said "what was all the food you ordered again?". We then had to wait 25 minutes for our food even though when we went there was only 1 person ahead of us. They served 10 other people who came in after us before us and when our food came we were missing half of it. But it seemed like that half had already been made it was just sitting around? So they grabbed it for us after realizing we didn't have it. After this we did laser tag, and decided to do mini-golf . There's no attendat or anything outside for mini golf to space out crowds etc. It was so crowded we couldn't even enjoy ourselves. We are a group of 8 so when people would come up behind us we let them go ahead of us because we felt bad for couples having to wait behind a group of 8. Even then we ended up rushing through and skipping some holes to give us enough time to play and enjoy the game without a line of people waiting behind us. After mini golf and go karts etc the kiddos were all ready to play arcade and have some more drinks. This time in the Cafe I stood in line for 30 minutes just to order some bottled beverages. Again, there was one cashier and one maybe 2 in the back making food? It seemed seriously under staffed for a busy day before Easter crowd. The staff themselves were extremely friendly and nice, even the cashier earlier who seemed to blank out just seemed super overwhelmed. I just felt super bad for them clearly needing some more staff to help them out!! My kids friends said they go there all the time and it isn't usually like that at all! Regardless all 6 kids had a blast but please to the powers that be don't understaff your facilities. It isn't fair to your workers or...

DILAPITATED WASTE OF MONEY. I saved for a couple of months to take my family here. BIG MISTAKE. Upon walking in we were greeted by a merry go round...with 1 horse...the other 2 were removed , missing. My grandson desperately wanted to ride the bumper boats. We stood in line and waited. 4 out of 5 boats running. As we were waiting one breaks down. The next group goes...another breaks down. 2 bumper boats..weee. So we tried the bumper cars. Can you guess? 4 out of 7 working. The squealing and grinding noises coming from the working ones was nearly unbearable. Well we went on trying to make the best of our day, and tried laser tag. My gun....had to point it about 6 feet above my target to actually hit my target. Sounds like a joke right? Its not, but wait it gets better (or worse). My nephew really wanted to ride the paddle boats...went to the shore, and of course there were boat parts laying all over. That should have been a warning, but I didn't listen to my head. My nephew got about 30 feet off the dock when the back of the seat broke. He had to paddle back laying down after nearly falling in the water. Well we were kind of leaving our favorites for last and figured the go karts cant lose. We were wrong. 2 of our 4 cars kept stalling on the track, forcing the kid running it to run out on the track and pull start our cars. Finally...we played putt putt...no moving parts right? Nothing to break. On the 16th...NOT 18th hole its one of those shoot it into the cabin and the ball comes out a shoot lower down. Made a great shot right into the cabin....no ball. Didn't get to finish my game. I will also state that I actually saw a video game in there that was being held together with duct tape and silicone. My daughter says: THE ONLY THING THAT SEEMED TO WORK RIGHT IS THEIR CASH REGISTERS! I swear under threat of a defamation suit EVERY word I put up here is 100% true and accurate. I would have complained but I literally saw no one that I thought was older than about 16 yrs old. We are not a well off family and I actually did have to save to take my family for a day of "fun" because we couldn't afford a vacation, and this was the most miserable excuse for a money grubbing, "get their money before they find out everything is broken down" "fun park" For $2 more per ticket we could have spent the day at Elitches. My mistake. The owners of this place should be very VERY ashamed of the fleecing they do to hard working families. All that said....I waited almost a week to post this so the anger...

My three sons and I had an absolute blast here today! We enjoyed the All Day Fun Pass + Go Karts which was a tremendous value at $36 per person. Go Karts, Mini Golf, Lazer Tag, Super Slide, Bumper Cars, Bumper Boats, and a magnificent arcade! We got our monies worth many times over today. We enjoyed snacks throughout the day and a delicious dinner at their Auntie Stone's Kitchen as well. The food quality was far better than I ever would've guessed and the prices were on point offering very good value. There is a great selection of adult beverages as well at their awesome bar. On top of all of this their staff was flawless. Each and every interaction we had with a staff member was just fantastic. Kudos to your trainers and management. As someone who's spent their whole career in the hospitality industry I know and appreciate how difficult this can be to execute on the scale you do. Keep doing whatever it is you're doing. You're hard work, attention to detail, and obvious dedication in this area really shows and is so appreciated. Two staff members in particular really stood out. My man Big Nate on the Go Kart Crew was just perfect with my boys. What an excellent young man. Polite, courteous, and funny. Just an extraordinary young gentleman who dealt with our party, and everyone else I witnessed, with genuine kindness, warmth, and care. He was perfect at every turn. We also enjoyed the service of a young lady named Sapphire in the restaurant who was so friendly, pleasant, and extremely helpful. She was very busy most of the day and kept an excellent smile and attitude while offering flawless service throughout the day. I was very impressed. Today was the best day my sons and I have EVER had on one of our Dude's Days and I can't thank the whole Fort Fun Team enough for such a stunning experience. We can't wait to come back ASAP. Thank you again so much to the whole Fort Fun Team for a day my boys and I will never forget!!! Keep up the good work and see you...
