If you like ice cream, you’re gonna love this place! Visiting family in town, decided to go for a drive and found this place. OMG, it was soooo good! The small cup is 2 scoops, they do not skimp on portions, and prices are less than you would expect. Vanilla and strawberry scoops were on point! One had mint chocolate chip, said it was the best she’s had in forever, and the waffle cone was second to none. Freshest she has ever had. We’re going back before leaving FoCo!

Edit July 31: Leaving town tomorrow so hit up Glacier again. Holy smokes, the key lime pie ice cream was great! It actually tasted like a key lime pie from south Florida, but better since it’s ice cream. :-)

Update: Took 11 months, but we got to FTC today and after picking up family, went straight for ice cream! Everyone loved it! Mint chocolate chip Strawberry Vanilla Key lime pie All are amazingly flavorful and just the right sweetness. The other memorable thing Glacier has like no other, the smell of their homemade cones. That is glorious, never smelled that anywhere else.

Edit: July 2025. Annual trip to FtC and had to stop in, three times in a week!

Bing Cheery was really, really good. Large chunks of cherries and the famously smooth ice cream.

The cherry chocolate chip was out of this world. If you like chocolate chips, this is heavenly. Great ratio of chips to ice cream.

The sorbet was again a delight. Great texture and flavor, a family favorite.

And you can’t leave out the vanilla. My old favorite, and go too flavor. I mean, it’s just so good, other ice cream has no chance to compete. Till...

I honestly have no idea how this place Does not have THOUSANDS of 5 star ratings, they deserve it 100%. Probably some of the BEST ice cream I've ever had, if not the best, in the top 3. They have all sorts of ice cream to choose from, as well as a small selection of gelato and sorbet, but they have traditional, special & unique, nut free, gluten free, dairy free, some have added CBD, so many options. Any ice cream that has nuts is in one case, they use seperate utensils & machines when dealing with nuts so they can ensure safety for those with nut allergies. They have a delicious selection of dairy free (the mexican chocolate is actually really delicous). This girl loves a good dairy free option, but I couldn't say no to the raspberry with chocolate chuncks, absolutely amazing. The regualr waffle cone was so good, as well as sterdy, when my ice cream started to melt, it didn't leak which is a huge plus when on the road. I tried almost every flavor & was NOT dissapointed. The great thing is that there is something...

We decided to give them another try. The workers were really nice. The ice-cream was really good. This was a much better experience. I'm glad that it was so good. We will be going back.

Original review: On Saturday evening I thought it would be a lot of fun to take the whole family to the new ice cream shop. What's better than going for ice cream on a hot summer day? We were really excited to try the new neighborhood shop. All the reviews were 5 stars after all. In all we got 4 different flavors. 3 of the 4 were duds. The quality of the ice cream is pretty low. The prices are similar to cold stone, but the quality is way lower. This place is just not worth it. I'm really disappointed because I really wanted to like the new neighborhood place. We don't have a lot of options up on north college. We were the only ones in the shop, and I didn't find the workers (I think they were the owners) to be friendly or welcoming as mentioned in the other reviews. They barely said a word to us. We won't...

This is Fort Collins hidden gem of ice cream! The flavors are vast and incredible and they change almost daily. Glacier doesn’t weigh your ice cream and there’s not one bit of icy-ness in your scoop. They nailed the fat content and churning because it’s about as creamy of an ice cream I’ve ever tasted in my life - and this comes from the daughter of a dairy farmer! Lastly, and this is important - they practice really clean scooping. No ice cream tastes like another flavor because they really clean their scoopers in between or use a brand new scooper. And there’s never too much water on the ice cream scooper or else that would lead to ice. All around, Glacier gets the win!

This family-owned ice cream shop is so wonderful! The ambiance and decorations are quite interesting and make for great conversation! Jerry Garcia pictures Beetlejuice The Beatles Jimi Hendrix Phish etc, etc. And especially the diorama of ewoks from Star wars at the counter where you pay. I love the funky donkey flavor, ice cream but the pink Cadillac which is strawberry with Oreos. Any of their ice creams are just delicious! This should be everyone's go-to place for ice cream in FoCo!!! SUPPORT LOCAL & GET DELICIOUS ICE CREAM!!!
