Ever Open Cafe — Restaurant in Fort Collins

Ate there for 38 yrs , some minor issues from time to time , always great service ! My wife and i last 3 visits have been not great . This mornings was the worst as far as how our food was prepared . I went to culanary school and worked food service for 13 yrs , breakfast cook was my expertice . This morning : i ordered my hash browns browned , both my wifes and mine were not browned and cold in the middle , steak i ordered medium , it was rare , my eggs supposed to be medium still had runny whites around the yoke . Out toast was not toast but a hot piece of bread . I wanted to leave and go else where but out server said she would make it right . Got my plate back and my steak was wrll done , hash browns still not browned , and my eggs were the same ones and COLD . We paid our bill and left with out eating . Thats 68.70 plus tip for 3 different meals that was wasted . The cook SUCKS AND SHOULD BE REPLACED . 3 strikes and u are out . My wife and i will find another place that appreacates our 3,500.00 dollars a yr we spend on...

Been going there since I was a Kid and I was born here. There under new owners now I Hear. And they don't stay open past 9:00pm so no more going there after closing the Bar. Lol ;) Don't do that no more anyway! Lol But I Won't be going Back again or anymore. My Companion says same thing:( I got the. Two Bisquits and Gravy with Hashbrowns and two eggs over easy. The service was good. And the food got there Quick. But it had a bad taste that wouldn't go away. And I put salsa and Tabasco sauce on it to try and cover. And I got it Down. But soon as I got home I had to get right to the Bathroom and that's where the fun Started. Coming from both ends! And bad gut ache to. Ya last rest of day and night! Not good. I think the milk they used in the gravy, if milk was used was sour. Not sure but the worse experience I have ever had at ever open. That isn't Ever Open no More. And Sorry to have to say it! But the Truth...

The Food was really good, everything came out perfect and I enjoyed everything...that being said the service was some of the worst I have ever seen in there, my Girlfriend never got her water throught the entire meal so we just shared ours and only got one refill, the waitress spilled coffee and then said "let me go get some napkins to clean this up" and then proceeds to fill up everyone's coffee in entire place before she comes back to clean the mess that she made as I am sitting there trying to not let the coffee drip onto my booth... the waitress is an obvious tweaker that needs a nap, I dont think I will ever go back there after this one :( I cant honestly say the last time I fully enjoyed myself at this place... the only reason I didnt give 1 star was because the food came out perfect. You need to Drug test your Employees and get that place back up to the standard that...
