Awesome Park especially since they renovated it, it's right by the Poudre River, it's right by baseball fields, it's right off the Poudre Trail, it's right by the farm at Lee Martinez, I can always see my children from any points... sometimes it can be sketchy because there are some homeless or drug addicts or drunk people that hang out in the shelter about 250 ft from the actual Park but I've never really had an altercation with anybody, just deranged people yelling sometimes lots of potty mouth. Cops easily get called and they're usually escorted or they chill out but I've never seen any crazy people interact at the park with...
Read moreWith the forest as scenery this is a great place to take photos, bring friends, family, significant others out for a date. With the playground and baseball field being as large as they are this is also a great place to bring your kids ages 17 and under. Teens too huge for the playground? Let them walk the forest trails, with how simplistic the layout of the sidewalks and trails are its easy to find your way back, so long as you dont go too far. This is ideal if your kids have working phones mind you, in case they do happen to get lost.

Read moreWe recently hosted a graduation party at this park. I was very impressed with the amount of things to do at the park. There were basketball hoops, tennis, plenty of grass, and the playgrounds for kids to play on. This is a great place for the family to come and spend a day, giving everyone something to do. We rented the gazebo and had around 30 people. There were plenty of benches and table tops to accommodate all of our guests. We had a electrical outlet to keep food warm and top play a variety of music. I am not new to Ft. Collins, but I am new to this park. I hope to plan more events for my family...
