I will start this by saying I've ordered here, give or take, half a dozen times and it's been pretty decent each time. This particular review is because of my last visit.

I have ordered the big ny each time. The first time I tried to order with extra cheese and was informed they could not customize the pizza as it was a promo offer. While it seems strange to not be able to upcharge and edit a pizza, the king food for customizing and what business doesn't like to make more money, I can forgive this. I always do ask for light sauce as I am not a fan of their pizza sauce and this has always been done as I am not adding to the pizza.

My last visit I was told they could not do light sauce. I explained I understood not ADDING as they could not upcharge but I was asking for less for the same price. Girl behind the register then told me she "didn't have a button for that". I told her to just tell the guy standing 3 feet from her and she refused trying to say it was policy not to customize the pizza in any way. The combination between her excuses, snide attitude about not accommodating the order each time I asked a question, and the general policy of not allowing a pizza, even with additional charge added, to be customized, has made me decide I will not be ordering here again. There are just a few other pizza places out there and this policy, along with the inability to recognize I was asking for less and willing to pay the same price by an arrogant employee, has made this place no longer worth...

I will start by noting that I was a manager for Papa Murphys many years ago and I know the service standards for the company. Starting with the positives: the cashier Nolan was very friendly and welcoming and the pizza makers did a good job of spreading the toppings out. However that is where the good ends. The store was horrendously filthy. There were giant stacks of dirty dishes close to the pizza making area, the line was loaded with food from the entire day (I know what the build up of each hour looks like when making pizzas) it was in fact a full days worth of food. The trash cans were overflowing and nobody thought to change the bags. There were tickets all over the ground and it looks like it had not been mopped all week. The topping bins had all the measuring cups and the bowl and scale for topping cheese were all out and accessible but not a single time used. The pizza makers were only guessing at how much to put on by using their hands to scoop toppings. The whole time the pizza makers were making the pizza they were talking with each other and not guests. Also the pickup racks for online and call-in orders were blocking the view of the line so that is was tough for me as a customer to watch them make the pizza or interact with the staff, this does not create a welcoming environment. I almost never give negative reviews. I side with the overworked and underpaid workers, with a poor ownership structure, and system.

These workers are overworked. This is the 2nd major wrong we've had. Nov we asked for stuffed and we got thin pizza. I complained. I gave them my name & number for the owner, mngr. Nothing. So we didn't order for awhile.

So tonight I ordered for a special occasion. Two stuffed pizzas. One w chicken, black olives, mushrooms, cheese. (Notice no pork in that order.) Next pizza: pepperoni, sausage, black olives, extra cheese. Well both pizzas had Canadian bacon. And now they can't answer the phone, or they're closed. Major allergy. My hero sweetie offered to go get another one but it's a long drive and they aren't answering the phone.

These pizza makers are so incredibly busy, overworked. Highly likely they are underpaid, stressed. Owner: Your "System" to order pizzas needs to be better. Fix it.

Give us coupon for the 2 messed up pizzas in Nov, and now 2 form others day, birthday.
