The Breakfast Club — Restaurant in Fort Collins

I decided to dabble in the dinning experience based off the rave reviews and instead I experienced a dinning ASSAULT. It was seat yourself service, so I chose a small table since I was dinning alone. As soon as I sat down the quiet couple behind me started LOUDLY spewing Anti-American HATE SPEECH! The talk of Mass Murder, Guns, Anti-Military, Anti-Religion, and hateful political speech was nauseating and extremely offensive, so I asked to be moved and speak to a manager. I was seated next to the open door of the kitchen. After waiting for 10 minutes for a manager that NEVER came, I asked for a box for my sub-par food and went to pay my pricey bill. I was appalled at the lack of disregard The Breakfast Club has for their customers; which was reinforced by the hostess closing out my check at the register. I informed her of the situation and that the manager I asked for never came. She happily closed my check and said "Oh well, we cannot control what people say and everyone here talks politics" as I was walking out the door. Never apologized, never even blinked an eye, or showed concern about an offensive patron spewing HATE SPEECH LOUDLY in their restaurant. As an Air Force Veteran that served my country for the rights this man was so hatefully shaming, I am angry that a place of business wouldn't come over and ask him to speak softer, or wait until he left to discuss his hate speech! I will NEVER...

I'll start by saying, I went here based on Google reviews too. And idk who's writing these reviews but I what I experienced was absolutely bizarre for a resteraunt. I have never literally left a restaurant faster in my life.

This place smells like old smoke and dirty! It's clear they don't like diversity of any kind. Went for breakfast and despite my better judgement I ordered the works breakfast. The wait staff is beyond rude and treats you like your an inncovienence, apparently it's seat your self. Which I was rudely explained that. Found a table and 20 mins later the waitress gets our drink order and food. 40 mins later our food came out. I was immediately grossed out. The ham was literally grey, eggs were under cooked and boogery- i sent eggs and was brought out yellow slime cold crap which I can only imagine was scrambled eggs?? My wife and I got up and went to pay- I would rather not get food poisoning. I let the lady in the front know that the waitress hadn't brought out check but we were not eating that food.

I have tried this place 2x and 2x too many The first experience 2 years ago and the waitress refused to serve my wife and I.

Please go down the street and go to first watch. I assure you it's a way better experience. Also I'd love to understand how this place is still...

To start, the service was horrible - cashier/host was nice, but the waitress was horrible, no personality, she carried herself in an unfriendly manner, monotone, lack of any kind of personality. Now this gets me to the huevos rancheros - worst meal I’ve been served in a long time - I would of complained to the waitress and ordered something new but was never asked how our food was 🤷‍♂️ - it’s was a raw tortilla on the bottom of a cold plate and covered in slop - the breakfast sausage was who knows what - seemed like some cheap hotdog leftover sausage imitation sliced up, probably whatever they could find in the back - cheese not melted - it was soup on a plate and cold - horrid - did not even eat it - the waitress took my full plate and did not even ask if I wanted a box for leftovers on a almost 15$ meal - but again service was horrid and she didn’t give two cents. We noticed a poor women sitting by us eating the same thing and could not help but sense her disgust as well.
