The food is good however I recently do not agree with the charge to using a card. I ordered 2 Deluxe burgers and my total was $7.47. They ran my card and I noticed the charge was different between the receipts($7.76). I learned recently they added a 4% fee for using a debit or credit card. Its expensive enough as it is to eat out and with todays age with cards and technology it’s pretty low ball thing to pass a NCC charge onto the customer. I don’t know the reason for the charge whether it’s for not having the card service but for a place that makes millions of dollars in sales having a card service is a small business fee. On top of all that not everyone carries cash. Covid-19 is a pretty good reason not to carry cash and to keep your employees and customers safe nobody wants to be handling a bunch of dirty money. Until then I won’t be returning and I suggest you as a business quit being such penny pinchers. Oh yeah I also was refunded my 29 cents by the bank. I’m not going to be the one paying for the charge for this one. You’re just going to have to deal with the bank when they demand back...

I grew up in the "Drive In Era"..it seems like every town, no matter how small, had a Drive In on a main street that your parents would take you to when you won a ball game, when you needed a cold ice cream treat on a hot summer's day or special meal, just because !! Ja-Mar is one of a few survivor still in business. Their menu offers something of interest to almost any customer, it has many choices ! Every item I have ever tried was very tasty and served hot and quickly. I have a special appreciation for their Double Cheeseburgers. The staff is the best, greeting you and asking for your order at lightning speed !! They are constantly cleaning and wiping down surfaces !!And if you are eating inside, they will deliver your meal to your table when it's ready. Old fashion service is what some call it. Friendly Staff..check, Clean Place..check, Good Food..check, Served Hot and Promptly..check, A Blast for the Past !!! 5 Stars...

Trying someplace new but pretty sure I will not be back. Cashier seemed annoyed as I was looking at the menu. Once I ordered the Monday special, double cheeseburger, fries and drink, she gave me the drink. Took a little longer than I thought it would to get my order and I wouldn't have minded if it came hot. I was expecting bigger hamburger patties but the sandwich looked like a McDonalds double, very thin patties and fries were like warm at best. Thank goodness that my Dr Pepper was good and I went up to get some more so I could feel myself up before leaving half of my sandwich and almost every fry. Be sure to look at your receipt. My total was $9 something but when I got home and looked my credit card showed $10....not happy. That...

Jmars used to be a family favorite. I went there as a kid and it’s always been very good. I haven’t been there in over a year. I went today and got burgers for the family. They were very sad and disappointing. The burgers were almost paper thin and they were very expensive. The fries were very dry and chewy. The ranch tasted like it had a bunch of garlic in it. This place has really gone downhill. The only thing positive I can say about it is the service was still good. The staff was friendly.

Enjoyed a fantastic lunch here as we are motorcycling from PA to Mt. Rushmore. Found it on Google Maps and it was PERFECT...tasty chicken, baked beans and cold slaw at a great price. Very friendly staff made us feel welcome and at home. Thumbs up for Ja-Mar.
