Taco Tico — Restaurant in Fort Dodge

Ordered a pop from here to go with my food today and when the girl at the window handed me my drink the lid was not on the cup all the way, which resulted in it spilling all over me and inside my car. The worker then proceeded to try to hand me my food watching pop go everywhere and then asks "oh, was the lid not on all the way?" To which I replied "No, it was not." Her response was "Actually, it probably wasn't on, it was the cup or both, we've had this problem with them alot!" Now I don't like to complain but i found this completely distasteful because she didn't even apologize or have the courtesy to offer me napkins and just poured the rest of the pop into a new cup. She didn't even fill it back up. On top of it all, the food was cold. I expected more from tico, I've always thought highly of them, but tonight they let me down, they let us all down. This was a couple of months ago, but it needs said: TACO TICO IS AMAZING!!!

We had a very large order of 12+ different meals, all charged separately. That is no easy task on top of their always busy drive thru. The dining was closed during supper, but they allowed another staff and myself in through the back to counter to run all the payments through. They then packed up each order separately, wrote the number the order came in, and had everything ready to go in a VERY timely manner. I was blown away by the efficiency, great service, speed, and smiles by all those involved. We could see supervisors/managers working diligently alongside their crew in the heat of a dinner rush. We got into fort Dodge a couple weeks ago and one of our first stops was at Taco tico because they were getting good reviews. Today I went back again and had the most outstanding service! I have a dairy allergy so I ordered my meal with no cheese when the girl behind the counter, and I don't know her name, was getting my meal from the cooks in the back she asked them which one didn't have cheese. They had put cheese on both of our orders. They remade my order without the cheese and I was able to head on home. Thank you so much for being conscientious and paying attention to what the customer needs. I would have been so heartbroken if I would have gotten home 20 minutes away and not been able to eat.
