Hobby Lobby — Local services in Fort Dodge

First trip ever inside a Hobby Lobby and man do they have their stuff marked way up. They sure don't care about anything except making their pockets fatter and fatter. I looked at something I've been looking at which at other places the product would cost me $20 and has a lot of the needs with it. Sadly those prices were made for me to order and wait til it got to me. So I decided I didn't have the patience to wait and I decided I'd go to Hobby Lobby even if I had to pay a few bucks more I'd have what I needed and could start what I was doing. Well the exact same thing minus all the extra stuff I'd would get by ordering online on the site I use at Hobby Lobby they wanted $60. I almost lost my mind. That's $40 difference and nothing but the one thing. It's sad that this place is like that. It's like this craft store is only made for certain kinds of people they sure don't seem to like the lower class people cause their prices prove it because lower class can't seem to afford their mark-up. All I'd suggest to anyone go to Michael's some of their things cost also but they care about ALL people prices are better and the employees are amazing which I can't say that about the Hobby Lobby. Staff is quite cold it seemed to be an inconvenience for an employee to help me find thing's but yet that's part of their jobs. If employees don't want to do work for the people who keep them with paychecks coming then...

I love hobby lobby and do a lot of my craft shopping there especially if I can't find it at Walmart or other local places. They have a huge selection of craft and frame items and they have silk flowers and Garland decorations for the home etc. I would have given them a four-star rating except for the fact that their prices are a little bit higher. I love the fact that they play Christian music there and that they have such wonderful items in their store though. I'm really into the farmhouse style of home decor and they have a wonderful array of these things. Whenever I have things I need a frame for they do a wonderful job with that too. But again their prices are a little bit high. I love the atmosphere and their helpfulness from the staff. The atmosphere is so comfortable and inviting I could stay there all day! Definitely not impressed. Drove an hour to get here for a custom matting for a series of photos. Woman had no idea what I was talking about or how to do it. Wanted me to come back tomorrow. And then my daughter finds opened slime in the toy aisle. Wants to let a worker know. We go up to the cashier and he says he doesn't know what to do with it, do we want to buy...
