My family and I have been coming here for about 4-5 years and more often as we’ve moved to Fort Lauderdale. We’re Mexican and this was the closest “authentic” place to us and we liked the food. Food is OK and tolerable enough for the average white American. Recently, we noticed that the meat in our tacos we order were slowly becoming less and less each time we ordered (different times, we order once a week) and we thought “OK inflation is hitting us all, it’s fine.” But today was just LAUGHABLE. We ordered 10 tongue tacos and I swear we had 6-8 teensy bits of pieces of lengua in each taco and (this was the final straw) 1 ONE singular piece of lengua in a taco. $3.75 for a lengua(tongue)taco. And they put more cilantro and onion than meat.. also their “horchata” tastes like boiled milk and cinnamon powder. Not a lick of rice or all of the rice at the bottom of your cup. Pick your poison. In conclusion, the tacos are ALWAYS cold and really greasy and they’re extremely stingy with their meat ($3-$3.75 for 1 taco) they’re opposite of Arby’s, “we have the meats” LMAO. I’d rather drive 10-15 minutes further to TAQUERIA DOÑA RAQUEL in Pompano #notsponsored. Taqueria El Paisa, hechale mas carne a sus pinches tacos! Perdieron un cliente que gasta buen dinero con ustedes cada semana. Y que se vayan muy a la chingada 😉. Thank you for coming to my...

If i could give this place 0 stars i would! This place was horrible I just got off a flight and wanted some tacos. I ordered my food and my wife ordered hers. We only got 4 steak tacos and nachos. We were waiting almost an hour until my wife got up and the lady put her finger up telling us to hold on. Not to mention we came when there was only 1 customer more people started coming and they were all served before us. I gave her five more minutes until i was gonna ask for a refund. Finally we got our food I was very disappointed it wasn’t fresh or hot it’s like it was just sitting. We ordered 2 pineapple jaritos which she gave away to the other customers after us and doesn’t even tell us theres no more left she had 2 fruit punch and just handed it to us no drink opener after we watched her open every one else’s she seen us struggling to try and open it and then handed us an opener once we finished our food. Just all around it wasn’t friendly we were very uncomfortable i do not recommend this place...

So I arrived yesterday at the establishment ar 10:45pm. Mind you the hours of operation are posted as 11. Waited in line, placed order halfway through the lady obviously responding to someone talking to her as she turned around said to me "the kitchen closes at 10:50pm. I asked so I can't order anything as I've been standing in line and waited on prior to 10:50pm. She s as us "sorry,no the kitchen is closed". Honestly the worst customer service I've ever seen. So the lady in the kitchen should have came our herself as she obviously made that call. Just to clarify there is no posting outside the restaurant that any the kitchen closes 10 minutes till closing time. I love the food, is pricey compared to other I think their a Mexican taco shop, not too sure about that. But there a bit higher priced than others nearby. No issue paying it however, won't be coming back. I believe if you continue this poor customer service without letting customers know you'll go back to the food...

I was recommended this place by a local and decided to check it out. It was so darn good I came back twice! I got the 3 taco meal special each time (comes with refried beans and rice with 3 tacos of choice for $12). When I came on weekday when it was slow she only charged me the listed price even though I got the more expensive 3.75 tacos (tongue, tripa and barbacoa) and when i came on the weekend it was no longer the $12 special if I pick the more expensive tacos over the $3 tacos but oh well. Food tasted great so I didn't complain. No indoor seating so I got bit outside while eating on the bench but you get bigger portions if you dine there vs take out. The area is a bit sketchy I saw 3 kids steal this grown man's mini pocket bike on the spot while he was ordering tacos....

First thing if you have never been to Mexico and had real street tacos this is not the place for you. If you want to try some legit street style tacos then your in luck. This place is a hole in the wall. There is a small bench outside but don't expect to eat here. The food was very good if not one of the most authentic places I have been to in South Florida. Beware the red/orangeish salsa is smoking hot, I think they use habaneros. The tacos were served on double small fresh tortillas with plenty of cilantro, onions, and lime to squeeze. Too bad they don't have Horchata. I will definitely order and pickup from here again
