I have been a regular at this place for roughly 18 years. The food was always great and the staff has always been fabulous. Especially when Diane was alive. Racheal has also been a pillar of the place. I will say in my opinion, from what I have witnessed the owner has NEVER listened to her staff and certainly in my opinion not made the best decision, but the food was still good. Today however was a whole different story! First there was one waitress running her behind off. Second, we ordered two 10 wing lunch specials. I like flats and my wife likes the drums. You are seriously going to charge me $1.00 extra per special to put the flats on one plate and the drums on the other? I would understand an added charge if someone was just placing one order and wanted flats. That is from a customers point of view, beyond an ignorant business decision! Third, our fries came out 10-15 minutes before our salad and wings. Who wants cold fries with their meal? It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out you don’t drop the fries until you drop the wings. Fourth, one basket of wings had celery and carrots, while the other only had celery. Complete lack of consistency today. Fifth, we asked for the wings to be cooked dry. Some were crispy like they were cooked dry, while others were soft and soggy like they weren’t cooked dry. Sixth, it doesn’t take much to upgrade the fountain drinks. Over the years, I have witnessed more than once, the owner in my opinion devaluing her employees. It is hard to see employees say she doesn’t listen to us when we are the ones working the floor and know what is needed. Especially when they want to make the business better! She is VERY VERY LUCKY to have employees like Diane (when she was alive) and Racheal that stick it out because they care about the community! Read moreThis place has been here forever and we were regulars for many years. The service was always friendly and quick and food excellent. Went back today for the first time in many years (due to moving out of the area) and the wings were still great. However, that was about all that was good. We walked in and sat down and were there another 10 min before anyone even spoke to us. The service was SLOW and not at all friendly. We ordered something they couldn't make bc the toaster was broken but we weren't told until after we asked where it was about 15m after we got all our other food. We asked for condiments and they never came. When we asked about number of chicken fingers with a meal the employee didn't know the answer. Our waitress seemed bothered to even be there and was difficult to communicate with (she didn't give us options on sides, we had to ask lots of questions to get info, she would walk away while talking to us, etc.) The coleslaw was basically a cup of mayo with some chopped cabbage in it. The chicken livers were burned. The kids macaroni bites were gross. Even my kids that love mac and cheese wouldn't eat them. We were there for about an hour and a half total and only one other table came in the whole time! I would suggest getting takeout or finding a wings place who actually wants...

However, the service is an abomination. You ask how are you and they don’t respond. They are downright RUDE. I am a good customer and I like to be nice to people in service because I am also in service. These people want NONE OF IT. When I was in person and ordering my food the waitress stopped me in the middle of my sentence by putting her finger in my face and saying “stop” before going back to my friend who ordered before me to grab info she missed from their order (UNACCEPTABLE?) do these people work for tips? doesn’t seem like it.
When i ordered takeout, the phone quality was so horrible we couldn’t hear each other (obviously not the servers fault) however when they answered the first thing they said was Yelling Can you wait on hold? There’s just better language to use when dealing with people.
My advice to the owners is to retrain staff or hire younger more polite people to work there. Overall, I’ll continue coming here but I will be bearing in mind that I may be talked to rudely by staff and probably will try to stick to take out to avoid having to tip...
