Lucky Shot Sports Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Fort Lupton

Wow what a transformation under new ownership! I had been to the bar years ago and a family member was even a regular back in the day. Pretty forgettable experience. Under the new ownership over the past (almost) 2 years, the place has been completely transformed for the better! HD TV’s everywhere, sports always on, and the massive pool table upgrades stand out! I play in the Thursday night pool league, and the 3 bartenders Janae, Becca, and Angel always provide excellent service, despite Thursdays apparently being their busiest night! The food is solid, keeping in mind you’re at a sports bar, and not a Michelin Star restaurant with Gordon Ramsey in the kitchen. The drinks are excellent, and they have specials (including bogo half off buckets on Thursdays)! Great place to catch a game, and rack up some pool with friends! The waitress was nice and service was quick for it being as busy as it was (they had a pool tournament going on) but we left after one drink. The reason why is becauseThey don't accept credit cards?! I was a little confused because... Well you know it's 2018 alot of people don't even carry cash. They didn't even inform us of this until after the drinks were on the table. They have a ATM there but charged a fee to pull money out, I'm not paying a fee just because they cant keeping up with the times. The two drinks turned out to be 9.50 all we had was 10 bucks so we ended up not leaving a tip. Also since they could accept cards they didn't allow us to open a Tab. Hit or miss to be honest. Thursday’s always seems to be the busiest day and the service is generally pretty good. Friday on the other hand, not as busy and the service generally sucks. Food is average being bar food and yes sometimes you can taste when the my need to change the oil, but overall decent food bar food. If you’re at a table good luck getting service, ladies never leave behind the bar. Wrong em end of the bar, good luck! They like to stand on one end of the bar, pretty sure it’s hose the floor behind the mat works. But at the end of the day it’s a bar.. what do you expect. If we weren’t local I wouldn’t stop by from time to time, non local.. don’t bother…you hate...
