We drove from Thornton to Ft. Lupton to pick up an item that our neighborhood HomeDepot and Ace Coop didn’t have in stock today. Prior to driving here I spoke with a very helpful floor clerk whom reassured me they had plenty of what we needed in stock, I told her we were minutes away and she said no problem. We arrived and 1 can was on the shelf ! I’m glad we didn’t wait because there definitely wasn’t plenty on the shelf. During checkout the cashier Alice was rude and no customer service skills. After walking out of the store , thinking to myself “ I vow not to return here again !” , it occurred to me that i make the choice to spend my money where I choose to. I walked back in to Ace , returned the items and bought them at a store that values customers. I continue to take my business and money to places that value consumers , has customer service and understands that customers have...

I was shorted $10 on my change, which is no big deal, but when I went back inside to tell her, I received nothing but evil stares, overt attitude, and zero apologies even though I proved my case. I was treated like some jerk just for asking her for the correct change. Even her supervisor treated me foul for no good reason, pouring over a 2 item receipt for nearly 3 minutes trying to find a way out of giving me my $10 that I was shorted. I've been to this Ace several times recently as my daughter bought a home in Fort Lupton. I have never been greeted by an employee or asked if I was looking for something before I hunted down an employee to get help. Today the employee I found could do no more than show me to the aisle where the item I was looking for was. He couldn't answer any ?s about the product and he said no one else in the store could either. He was right. On top of that the product he told me was $37 rung up at $50. Thanks to YouTube I was able to complete my repair by cannibalizing parts from a different product. Really disappointing for a store that claims to be "the Place" for all your...
