I actually turned my car around after passing Culver's because the outside sign showed Oreo Cheesecake custard as the flavor of the day. When I went inside to order, the young girl at the counter said apologetically that actually wasn't the flavor of the day, but their sign was "broken" and that flavor had been on the sign for a long time. Huh, you can't take down the wrong letters from a sign or cover it if it's wrong? Then she said she could make it for me. I said great, but she "forgot" to mention she was going to charge me extra for each mix-in. Someone needs to tell her that isn't the way to make it up to a customer when the store screws up with false advertising. So I changed my order and asked for the heath bar pieces to be put in a separate cup with a lid - something I've requested many times in the past. Then, as I waited for my order, I watched two young male employees rough-housing and one trying to trip the other by sticking his foot out. Not a good look and dangerous, and all the time the one kid is holding my custard in his hand, and I'm standing there watching it melt while these two act out. When they finally bring it to me, the heath bar pieces are mixed into the custard. I tell them I requested it in a separate cup with a lid. More time watching my custard melt! Then he brings the heath bar pieces in a cup with an open lid. I tell him no, please put a lid on it so it doesn't spill out when I'm trying to unlock my car. He says that's the only lid they have. Really, since when? Then another employee hands me a lid without saying a word - no apology, no smile. My custard was soup by then. This used to be a well-run Culver's, but no more. If that was a supervisor who handed me the lid, someone should tell her that an expressionless face and silence when she shoves a lid at me is not exactly friendly. I know Culver's likes to hire teenagers but where is management? You just let...
Read moreMe and my mother had just got done with some errands that day. We decided to go to lunch and went to Culver's. I had got a burger and she got a fish sandwich. The young man that waited on us was very polite and gracious. I had told him me and Mom had never ate there before . I didn't know that they brought your food to your table when it was ready. That was nice. She got a glass of water and I got my cup to get some sweet tea. I went to the soda fountain to get some ice first and found that there was barely any ice coming out . I got what I could then got my tea and sat down to eat. My burger and fries were very good. My mom said the fish sandwich was really good . I went back to the fountain to get more ice and tea. By this time there was hardly any ice coming out of the dispenser. I went to the counter and told them the machine was not working. They said ice needed to be put in it . Rather then ask me if they could put ice in my cup they just gave that excuse. Mind you it wasn't that busy . I say that because there was at least 3 to 4 employees just conversing amongst themselves when I asked about the ice situation. Also there was one employee named Josh that had said something smart. I ignored it because we were done with our food. My mother wanted to try the frozen yogurt but I had enough of the attitude just over the ice. Like I said initially the food was very good but the service that I got later was questionable. I realize that in the fast food industry it is very hard to find quality staff. That's a shame here because the food is good but the...
Read moreOriginally from the Midwest I have eaten at Culvers my entire life almost. Absolutely love the chain and never have any problems. It's actually the only place I can say I never have issues. Except this particular one. I have gone there numerous times since it's close to my house. Every time it is something. Between the ridiculous wait times and extremely unfriendly staff here, I have actually started to avoid it. Last time I went there, I was the only one in the drive-thru and they had me pull up as they usually do. I pulled up to the end of the walk and the girl came out with my order after 10 minutes. She was texting the entire time and literally tossed my food into my window and onto my lap. And then she had the audacity to tell me that next time I need to pull all the way around the building. I was the only one there and I only stopped there so that she didn't have to walk all the way around. The next time I went there, I waited 15 minutes for my food and they forgot the ice cream. I told the girl and she said she'd be right back. I wanted another 15 minutes and my wife walked in to ask. The girl wasn't even going to come back out and give it to us. Then they said pull into a parking place and come back in about 10 minutes. First off, that puts my total wait time up to 30 minutes? Like seriously? And then you want me to come back into the store twice when I was originally in the drive-thru? Completely defeats the purpose. On top of that, they weren't even nice. And as I stood there waiting, I once again saw nothing but employees playing...
