I've been to India's grill three times. Once for dinner, twice for the lunch buffet. This is a composite review.

Dinner was a decent experience overall. The food had solid flavor, the service was quick and efficient, but nothing really blew me away. I feel our meal was a bit pricey for what it was. 3.5 stars

Lunch the first time we went was okay. There were a few dishes my husband and I really enjoyed, such as the chili chicken and the goat curry, and several more that were a bit underwhelming. The tandoori chicken was less tender and had less flavor than tandoori dishes we had experienced elsewhere. The masala tea was delicious. Service was spotty. 3.5 stars.

Lunch the second time was terrible. Super disapointed in the experience. Every chicken dish was extremely overcooked to the point of stringiness. The tandoori chicken was cold. There was one really good veggie dish and the rest seemed a little off. The naan was thin and brittle, not very well suited to sopping up sauces. There was none of the chili chicken or masala tea that were the highlight of our previous lunch trip here. We ran out of water halfway through the meal and it was not refilled. 2 stars.

Overall going to say 2.5 stars. The decor and atmosphere is very nice, but overall this is a very average restaurant with inconsistent quality of food and service. There are other Indian restaurants in town that have better flavors at a better price. I personally prefer India's Palace and will probably not be back to...

An excellent find here in Fort Myers, we generally keep it basic for dinner, the quick convenient chain restaurant, but we were out for a treat and we found it! Have had Indian food all over when travelling, this is one of our favorite ones now. Staff is really friendly and attentive, not all over the board, sadly we were just one of the two tables busy, even when take outs were plenty... Food was the gem, of course started with fried onions appetizers, and the Tama ind sauce and mint, were specially good. Then to chicken Tikka masala and chicken saag. Both with very tender and lean chunks of chicken breast, the curries were super nice and authentic with the characteristic spicy flavor that was not too awfully much for someone who barely eats anything hot, and of course when we forgot to ask for medium spicy, the waiter came to ask to be sure. Two naan types we tried, the plain and Peshawari, the latter a treat, "almost dessert", the hubby said, filled with nuts, a very nice compliment to all other flavors. The ambience may not be to everybody's liking, but I found it simple and functional, it was also kept clean, as staff would clear, clean and disinfect tables as soon as they were vacated. The cherry on top of the cake, the price, non alcoholic beverages, and it was $47 USD. Will come back every time I come to Fort Myers for sure, or try ordering...

We made reservations in advanced through Google Maps. Good thing because the place was packed! When we arrived, they already had a place for our group of 5. We tried a bit of everything and loved the Garlic Naan and Chicken Tikka Masala. The staff, although very busy and can take a bit to get to you, are very friendly and warm. Do not expect a fast service. Ensure you order some appetizers (such as the Veg Samosa and different types of Naan) and enjoy your conversations so it’ll give enough time for them to prepare the food. They have a kids menu (such as chicken fingers and French fries) since almost everything in the menu has some level of spiciness. Even the menu items that do not have a chili pepper next to them have some kind of spiciness if you’re not used to it. For dessert we had a Rasmalai and Kulfi Ice Cream (Almonds). The ras malai had a peculiar taste - not my kind of dessert but someone else in my group liked it. The Almond Kulfi Ice cream was interesting. For a group of 5, we tried various plates, desserts and even coffee. All under $90. I had fun bringing my family and would come back again.
