The customer service is HORRIBLE… last time I went the girl literally answered a phone call (on her cell phone) while she was still helping me, and continued to talk on the phone (while holding her phone in the same hand she was making my drink with) the entire time she made my drink. Today she was there with another girl, I walked up to the counter and both of them looked directly at me (didn’t greet me at all) and slowly turned and walked away and the guy took my order. I’ve never had a super warm experience with customer service but the last two were horrible, but I went back because I loved the drinks. Today I had a NASTY taro milk green tea (the guy made it). Super bitter, and I ordered it the way I always do. Obviously inconsistent with drink making, and majorly insufficient training. Was so excited about good boba and was a customer at least once a week, but with too many bad experiences I will not be going back.
RESPONSE TO REPLY- My drink was 30% sugar, just as it always is. It’s like there was no taro flavor, all milk powder. I watched the drink being made, there was very little taro. Also, it has been at least a week between my two really bad customer service interactions, and the girl was not any more pleasant. Still learning, or...
Read moreThe staff is nice when greeting and receiving your orders. However, the only thing I don’t recommend in this place is getting their coco cream wow as it legit just taste like water. I’ve been to other Kung fu tea places and never tasted like this before. The only thing I recommend for the place is to have better customer service when receiving constructive criticism about their drinks. Never offered to remake the drink even when the customer complained about the drink. But, I bet their other drinks are good it’s just usually the coco cream wow— so if you like “milk” tasting like water go ahead and get this one if not stay away from this drink!
Edit: I saw the owner’s response, — and per my last post my main disappointment is that I did not like my drink, and no Kung Fu Tea staff suggested to make me a new drink or recommend me a drink that I may like instead. However, I got told an ingredient list with no solution to me wasting $7 for a drink that I had to essentially “suck it up and be thankful.” I want to support this Kung Fu Tea as I have been a fan, but based on the owner’s response this says it all. Rather than deescalating this simple problem in person, you are creating a...
Read moreI showed up and my friend ordered his drink, I then asked the lady about any recommendations, she proceeded to laugh at me. I've been here twice before and have had the honey milk tea and kung fu milk tea. So I was a little taken back when she laughed. So I told her "I want the kung fu milk tea with coffee bubbles" she said excuse me? I told her again, then she asked what kind of tea. Told her which tea, then I looked at my receipt and looked at my friends, they didn't select coffee bubbles, so I said something before they made my drink and then I get my drink and it's just tea with coffee bubbles, which isn't what I told her. Then when I said something to her, her response "I asked you if that's what you wanted"(in a very rude tone) I've worked in customer service for many years and that is no way to speak to a customer, you should apologize and remake/make it right for the customer. After that remark from her, I said never mind and walked away. I wouldn't recommend walking in and ordering, I see they offer online ordering and would advise you do that if you want to try. That way you know what you're getting but I...
