Barone's Pizza and Arcade — Restaurant in Fort Payne

I brought my daughter and friend down from the Huntsville area.

Immediately upon entering the business, we were greeted by the hostess. We were then greeted to a great buffet with a large selection of pizzas, pasta and a salad bar. One of the food workers even asked if we would like a custom pizza made with ingredients of our choosing!

The pizza was hot and fresh. The slices were a perfect size so you could get more variety and not get filled up on 2 or 3 slices. The pizzas were being consistently changed out with fresh ones.

We then went to the arcade. There is a machine that you can exchange bills for tokens. I asked the hostess if there was an ATM available and there was an option to get cash off of your card from the register. This was very convienient!

The arcade is small, but for the selection of games and entertainment available, it was very fun! My daughter and her friend got more than enough tickets and were able to get some fun prizes. The hostess was very patient and accommodating when it came time to cash in tickets.

The environment is very positive and friendly. It is great for children and adults. The manager, Jill was great and very helpful.

The part I liked most, was my daughter telling me as we were leaving "this was the best day ever". I have not heard that in a long time, so I know this trip was worth it. We will...

They were definitely understaffed for the Halloween "Kids in Costume Eat Free" promotion! It took out table over an hour to get the loaded potato and veggie pizzas. The employees didn't know who they were for, so, I stead of checking for matching number cards, they put them in the bar. Speaking of which, the bar was constantly empty too! And tables were left piled with dishes until the almost closing time! I know cause we were there waiting on the two pizzas. There were a few employees trying to keep up, but whoever was wearing daisy dukes (not suitable for a food establishment in my opinion and experience) did not seem to care about anything except flirting and talking as much as she could get away with. I've never had a negative experience with Stevie B's in FtPayne until tonight. I would like to note I have experience working in a pizza restaurant and they were not busy enough to have been so far behind. Some body wasn't pulling their weight! We have went to this establishment several times, and each time I always seem to forget to take pictures.

Yesterday we went for a birthday celebration for my children. This is definitely a good place for things if that nature, having fun with the kids, or even a date idea, I’d say.

The pizza is great, especially when fresh. They will make custom pizzas for you as well no charge and if you don’t see one they office out you can request something like that as well with no extra charge.

Salad bar is also super good and the ranch is the good kind too. They only had about 2 games out in the arcade, and it is possible to win big. We hit the jackpot of 3 different games, 5 on one, and 9 on the other and came out with over 1000 tickets with only 15$ or so in coins.

Prizes are pretty good in variety as well although I think some of them could be lowered to meet better...
