Negatives - The ice cream wasn't that great. And I thought, "Good thing I also got me some of the chocolate-covered strawberries." When I opened the package, the cashier had gotten me the white chocolate strawberries. I don't like white chocolate. I didn't see her grab them in the store or I would've said something. I didn't touch them and I immediately walked back in and informed them as soon as I discoveredthe error. They wouldn’t do anything about it except say sorry. I don't appreciate that the cashier chose what kind of dessert I wanted instead of me choosing for myself.
Positives - The decor is really awesome. They have desserts as well as several flavors of ice cream. There are murals on the side of the buildings that are photo ops. The cashiers were friendly. The young lady who made the mistake apologized and tried to get the owner or manager to rectify it. (That...
Read moreWell I went because all of the reviews of the “amazingly moist “ cupcakes and I couldn’t be more disappointed. I purchased 2 red velvet, 2 carrot cake, a key lime bar and a medium cup of banana pudding ice cream. The cupcakes were $3.99 each, the worst $16 I’ve ever spent. They were not moist, not even a little bit. Actually they were so dry I choked a little bit. No amount of milk could make them any better. The icing was uneventful as well. I would like to assume that had I bought them the day they were made maybe I would have had the same unforgettable wonderful experience that other people claim to have had but I highly doubt it. I won’t be back. Publix, even Walmart has better cupcakes and they sure don’t cost $4 bucks a pop. Maybe the owners should consider baking fresh everyday instead of trying to maximize profit. I’m sure that would help the longevity of...
Read moreWe won't be back. My daughter's and little granddaughters come here weekly, and we even told friends about this quaint stop. However, nothing makes up for poor service. My 4 year old granddaughter asked for colored sprinkles on her dish of chocolate. First bite, let us know that all colored sprinkles are not the same. These sprinkles had small, very hard pearls mixed in. She couldn't crunch them with her teeth. I went back in to describe our dilemma. The answer from the worker was, "it's not our policy to replace items, so scrape the sprinkles off, and I can put something on top of that. Chocolate ice cream freezes poorly so the sprinkles are throughout. To top off a used container is a health code no no. So we went home with a child who wanted no part of any ice cream. Really, definitely not a customer comes first...
