As soon as I walked in the door, I knew I had made the correct choice; the office was immaculate, the front desk attendants were friendly and professional, and I was taken care of immediately.

Dr. L. Juan and his staff were like no doctor's office that I visited before. They asked questions, and didn't just tell me what they would give me, but communicated with me throughout my care. Dr. Juan took his time to ensure that he understood what my body was dealing with and then provided the treatment that would help me. There's a misconception that Urgent Care facilities exist as nothing more than an in-between for the ER and general practitioners. Historically, expectations of care are not high for these clinics. I can tell you that Fort Payne Urgent Care is the ultimate exception to this rule. The facility is spacious, well-equipped, and unlike any rapid/urgent care clinic I've ever had to use. The care I received was wonderful--everyone from the staff at the front desk to the Nurse Practitioner was kind, courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable. I don't believe any patient should sacrifice the quality of the care they receive for the immediacy in which they need it, and FP Urgent Care does it all: Immediate care of the highest quality with compassion and competency. I came in this past week because my primary physician couldn’t help remove the splinter from my foot and the corn on the other side. My insurance doesn’t cover podiatry either and I relayed this information to Dr. Luiz and he was willing to see what he could do for me.

My left foot is now completely able to be walked on, and he recommended this corn tape from walmart for my other foot. This man gave me relief after MONTHS of not being able to walk properly due to the pressure causing pain.
