Golden Corral Buffet & Grill — Restaurant in Fort Pierce

If I could leave zero stars I would. Horrible experience, rude cashiers, cooks, and what I'm guessing was a "manager". Our waitress was nice and attentive. Was under the impression i could purchase a to go box (From what I've seen on commercials) since my husband's blood sugar dropped and wasn't feeling well but apparently got accused of stealing, decided I wasn't going to purchase a to go box after she grabbed my arm while I was putting food on my plate from the counter and told me to pay or put it back (already paid $35, was going to ask the waitress to purchase a to go box for him to eat later). Got disgusted after that treatment and left everything at our table, (including the waitresses tip bc she was great). Only to have what i'm guessing was the manager and the cashiers standing by the registers talking loudly stating "I'm not dumb, that's why we have cameras". Hmm if you didn't accuse me of stealing or grab my arm you would've made more money from the to go box i planned asking the waitress for, I'm not a thief. Then to top it off the cashier decided to follow us out of the restaurant, crazy right? Didn't think I would need a bodyguard to go eat. I will NEVER return to this location. Note to manager NEVER grab someone by the arm. Note to cashier DON'T follow customers outside of the restaurant like your going to try something. Definetly should've went to cowboys like we planned but since husband wasn't feeling well he wanted to get something in his belly quick. I have been there before & although it was my favorite Golden Corral, I am very dissapointed. Last week on my way down frol Orlando, I went to this Golden Corral & I told the lady working the cash register that we were 2 adults & 1 child however she didn't let me finish (she was in a rush to charge me because she was too busy chit-chatting with her coworker) & she said "oh its 4 of you", to which I replied "No, its 3 of us, 2 adults 1 child." She charges us about $50 to which I thought it was strangely expensive than the usual. & I was right since when I sat down our server brought us 4 cups of water. When I look good at the receipt I saw that I paid for 3 adults & 1 child. I went up to the cash register & it explained it to the lady, she responded saying I said 3 & I know I have an amazing 20-year-old memory, however I was not going to argue over this, I just wanted money back for the extra person she charged. I said Im sorry I guess there was a mix up & she called the manager & he gave me a receipt showing he refunded the money however here I am a week later with no money refunded. I live in Miami & unfortunately I am not going to drive 2 hours to claim these $15 I was over charged. I just, unfortunately and sadly, will not be returning to this location. & I also wanted to share my experience so that anyone else that wants to go to this location can SPECIFY at the cash register or you simply won't be getting...

The waitress was very rude you paid for your drinks and food before you're even seated and then the waitress comes around and looks at your ticket to see what you ordered to drink I would not recommend sweet tea because when you ask for it you receive regular tea without sugar and then you get an attitude when you asked for another glass of sweet tea because the glass of tea they brought you is not sweet not to mention the manager was very rude as well the corporate manager. All of me and the wife and asked us to come back for a free meal on them for the way we were treated did not really want to go back but the wife was not having no for an answer so I ended up back at the place and found out that I will never go to Golden Corral in Fort Pierce Florida off of Okeechobee Road ever again not only is the service the worst I've ever seen the food wasn't up to par as well you're better off going to Golden Corral in Port St Lucie they actually care about their customers and you will be treated one hundred percent better then anywhere else I will travel the extra 30 miles it takes for me to get to Port Saint Lucie just to eat at the Golden Corral there before I would eat at the Golden Corral in Fort Pierce off of Okeechobee Road basically what I'm saying is if that was the last place on Earth with food I would starve before I went there that's...
