Terrible experience!!
My family was on a road trip up to a cruise at Port Canaveral and our experience almost cost us our entire cruise.
We ordered ahead and then also waited for 40 minutes for our food. We watched so many people come and go while we stood there waiting. We got two of our smoothies in that entire span of time.
We were running out of time and going to miss our boat, so we told the staff that we needed a refund and to cancel the last two food orders. The staff then slowly went over to the register and got out cash…to go to the store and get more lettuce??
Then EVENTUALLY they came over and said they’d get us a refund and gave us one more of our four orders. Of note, the employee who came over had to first say “hold on mom, I have to go” and hung up the phone…They then tried for 10 minutes to try and get a refund in the system (while on the phone with the manager because no manager was present) and were unsuccessful. My family eventually had to just up and leave without a refund and without part of our order 50 minutes later.
I am FURIOUS!! Such a horrible experience!!! The staff had zero understanding of how to do their jobs or work the system and had no urgency to complete their work or help us. On top of all this, we watched SO many other customers come in towards the end of this fiasco, wait around, then leave because no one even came to take...
Read moreI'm sitting in Tropical smoothie as I write this review. Absolutely horrible experience! Definitely will not be coming back I would rather drive to US 1. I entered the restaurant and sat in the lobby for over 10 minutes. No one came out to see you was waiting the ladies in the back just stayed in the back talking amongst each other. After waiting so long I decided to use the app to purchase my food. After waiting an additional 5 mins to hear some sort of action being done in the kitchen or even waiting to hear the blender .. there was nothing. Finally someone walks out to say " we will be with you" then she proceeds to walk back into the back while I'm trying to explain to her that I have a mobile order. Another lady comes and stands in front of me, doesn't greet me or say hello. I assume she's just waiting for me to blurt out my order. Overall horrible experience! Staff is very unprofessional! I even watched a couple walk in after me and the service they received was unacceptable. The cashier was literally looking down at her cellphone and tapping her nails as if she was running out of patience as they ordered. Read moreI was outside at 7 when the store is to open and it was not opened until 7:10. No biggie except I am on my way to work. The two employees working did not even enter the store until after 7. Smoothie was decent but definitely not as good as the one on us 1 (and I get the same smoothie almost always). Ordered 2 breakfast wraps as well. American wrap was not the best. I'd give them another chance despite my first experience there being worse. I agree with other posts about being run by young kids.
Went there the following day and had a completely different experience. More in line with my experience about a year ago. Smoothie was made wrong, they remade it. My wrap was made with wrong ingredients and did not taste good at all. I often get the kale apple slaw at the other tropical smoothie and love it. Not the case here, it was awful.
