Oh, my gosh. First, the good. One daughter and my husband's food was perfect. My other kid order two scoops of ice cream with hot fudge on it. First, the cashier told her they'd have to charge her for double fudge, but we said fine. But, they tried to charge her $9! They kept ringing her up as a double hot fudge deluxe sundae with extra fudge. Then, when she got it, they made it with the wrong ice cream (she ordered it with birthday cake, they used hot chocolate). When she tried to get it fixed, they just gave her the ice-cream and the woman told us we'd have to either pay for more fudge or scoop the fudge off the one that was made wrong (that we'd already given them back). Finally, they gave us one of the little sauce cups (like dipping sauces come in) with some fudge in it to pour on her ice cream, but they had charged us $6 for the double scoop of ice cream in a cup and that little bit of fudge. My food was ALL wrong. I ordered the burger on special (mushroom bacon swiss) with no mushrooms. They rang it up with extra mushrooms, even though I told her 3 times no mushrooms and she had even read it back to me as no mushrooms. Then, when we got it, it had tons of mushrooms on it. So I took it back, and the girl glared at the older woman who took my order and went back to get it remade. While still standing within ear shot she said if I wanted it my way I should go to burger King. Then, she threw my new burger at the counter and said there, no mushrooms. When I got sat down with it, it was LOADED with jalapeños, which were not ordered by anyone in our party! Definitely do not recommend this location, and if you risk it anyways and see a short, cranky, older lady with long hair at the register then I'd go somewhere else...
Read moreDiscrimination, Incompetence, and a Decline After 30 Years After three decades of loyalty to Braum’s, I’m officially done.
Every time I go, I’m met with incompetence at the windows—young employees who clearly haven’t been trained properly, and managers who respond with anger instead of leadership. It’s a chaotic, unprofessional environment that’s only gotten worse over time.
Most recently, I experienced what I can only describe as discrimination. I asked for a cup of coffee and was lied to not once, but three times—first told they were out, then told again they had none, and finally admitted they simply “didn’t have time” to make any. Yet, they were actively making burgers and serving ice cream. Apparently, making my order just wasn’t worth the effort.
When I called corporate, they confirmed coffee should have been made—it’s their policy. Their solution? A $5 gift card and a “sorry for the inconvenience.” That doesn’t fix the experience or the clear message I was sent: you don’t matter here.
If that’s how customers are treated now, Braum’s has lost what once made it great. Until major changes are made in management, training, and customer respect, I’ll be spending my money elsewhere—and I strongly suggest others...
Read moreStarted out good. Was welcomed by a very friendly (new employee) who was smiling and (just as) patient with us and 3 kids (ages 4, 8, 12) learning to order food on their own. As we were ending our order (5 of us) she was removed from the counter and 2nd girl took order. Was surprised NOT busy at all. We go to get drinks and trash can is blocking area. (The huge trash can on wheels you see rolled out to dumpsters). With my foot, I rolled it out to the isle. As we ate, I counted 9 employees working harder to look busy, than actually working. As we left, trying to locate the place to take our trash too, wasn't easy. Saw one receptacle that was faced backwards in the corner. I turned to the counter to ask where to put trash and got 2 employees who turned their back, 1 employee just looked and the short black girl, rolled her eyes, never said a word (as my grandson had found the trash holder) and she looked as if I had asked her for the impossible. I really don't think she likes working there. It was fun starting and explaining we were excited to eat here due to we don't have Braums in Conway. But do to the actions of the later, we decided not to get milkshakes to go.
Please build a Braums in...
