McDonald's — Restaurant in Fort Smith

Several times now, I’ve ordered ahead in the app and still had to wait 10 or more minutes for an order containing two items. Today was particularly annoying.

Order placed at 7:52. I was just up the road, and had to wait several minutes for typical Rogers Ave traffic. Entered the store, and my food was not complete. One other gentleman was asking for the coffee he ordered some time ago, telling me exactly the kind of experience I was in for.

As I was sitting there, a woman in a grey sweater was packing orders and complaining about the amount of customers. She packed an order, took it out, then began helping the people beside and behind me. She didn’t ask what I needed or even acknowledge me a single time, as if her visual acuity was based on movement.

She finishes up with the other customers and leaves. Again, without acknowledging me. I look up and see my order is now showing as “ready”. It’s nowhere to be seen in the pick up area. I look in the prep area and see the same woman pack it. She took a hash brown from another bag she made and threw it in mine, with no gloves on, and… takes it over to the drive thru warmer???

So I patiently wait some more. The person who came in much later than I got his food, and she ONCE AGAIN did not speak to me. Fed up and now late for work, I decided I was vetting at least one of the three items I paid for. I went behind the counter to the drink station for a grand total of two seconds and grabbed my cup.

Like a cheap Halloween animatronic, the woman sprang to life and finally spoke to me, fussing at me for grabbing the drink. I simply ignored her and filled my drink til she was done yapping, turned around and asked if I can have the items I paid for, as I had now spent 10 minutes waiting.

For those curious, the food part of my order was ONE sausage McGriddle and ONE hash brown. No special requests or modifications.

As luck would have it, I took a drink on the way into work only to find the soda had very little carbonation, rendering the soda flat and disappointing. Just like the rest of my visit.

Soo before they did the remodel it was honestly the hardest mc donald's to get in or out of. It seemed like that was just the beginning. Just pulling in the parking lot feels... idk as of now it feels right. Not trying to say it's perfect but you can defiantly see they are in the honeymoon phase. This is a hard location cause of location and people it's a mix of different things I can't wait to see if they prosper like the townson ave one there's a guy over there they need to have him train all of the window people if you know you know.

UPDATE!!!! NOT EVEN TWO WEEKS PEOPLE REALLY???? manager shorted me on my order didn't give me a receipt made sure to be in the window. And served me still cold some frozen, or maybe that cold. But I ordered a basket of fries and received cold and two medium fry's. Y'all think we don't know people who work there. If your gonna short someone don't make there food cold. And further more you served cold burgers the cheese wasn't even warm. No cars before me no person at back window the manger doesn't understand her body. Shouldn't be pressed against my food bag. To wipe off greece cause you didn't feel the need to wash them properly bafter handling barley warm fries. Definitely calling a manager tommorow after church. Gm on Monday as well. Beyond pathetic for even a manager. People will wait for food. It's fresh...

6/11/2021 Does this store ever have a working shake machine Today's? Almost every time I order one I'm told it is not working.

8/16/2020 Today's order was 2 sausage, egg and cheese mcgriddles and a biscuit and gravy with extra gravy. Compared to mt past orders for this i wasnt given extra gravy but charged for it. I called the store to report this. The man that answered said he made it and it was extra gravy and the other times they must have made it incorrectly. This has been one of my favorite stores because there almost never been a problem with my orders or interactions with the store.

Tonight it took a long time to get 2 medium fries and a basket of fries. Had me to pull forward. After which it took about 10 minutes. They were hot. I will return, hope service is better.

Low wait time through drive thru after 11 p.m. Pleasant employee at window. Ordered $38 worth of food which included a quarter pounder with cheese. After getting home I started eating it and noticed the meat was red/pink in the middle. Placed back in box. Normally a...
