Heard many good things about this place. Went in and was taking time to read what the menu had to offer. Initially, I thought there was two people waiting on their food but listening on their conversation, the man was one of the workers there. I waited for him to finish with talking to his friend, he acknowledged my partner and I by asking what are we going to order.
My partner then said she wanted a chicken sharwarma and right after that, the man at the counter just went back to talking to the woman he was talking to, taking about how he knew her for like 11 years and some other stuff. I just looked at my partner and she gave me a confused look as well, so we both left the restaurant.
I'm not sure if there is a certain way to order there, but I guess whatever they were talking about was really important despite how arbitrary it was. I also did notice someone putting some raw chicken or something similar looking in the microwave, that kind of worried me a bit.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreLOVE THIS PLACE! I've been coming since they opened and the food is constantly amazing. Having traveled overseas and having many middle eastern friends, I am quite familiar with the food. Often, when I travel, I go to Mediterranean restaurants but love that I can get authentic and delicious food, right here in Fort Wayne!
If you are not familiar with Mediterranean food, don't hesitate to try it. Many Americans believe it is spicy or that it's not regular meat but it is good old fashioned beef and chicken. If you like lamb, these restaurants have different dishes to choose from.
And if you don't know what to try, my favorite it kofta kabob (ground beef with special spices) with rice. Chicken kabob is like backyard BBQ style with vegetables and rice. Falafel is always good. Lots of choices. If you have not been, do not hesitate!
But remember, this is not fine dining. It's a small plane with a few tables....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is terrible. The service is horrible. I placed a large order for my family and the guy acted like he was doing me a favor.
Now to the food. The rotisserie chicken should not be placed in PLASTIC BAGS!! This is a food hazard!
I wanted 3 whole chickens he said he had only 2 and a half chickens.
I asked him how many people does the large fries feed? He said one person. It feeds 3 people. I could have saved money and got the small fries.
The garlic sauce tasted expired.
The falafel tastes like they were microwaved.
I hated the experience and I wouldn't feed this food to a dog.
There is nothing "authentic" about this place. No one wonder why most 1 star ratings are from middle eastern people. Because we know authentic when we taste...
