This place is frankly filthy. There is a thin film of grease on everything. On the wall hangs a giant golden mirror absolutely full of finger prints...Like so many prints you can tell it hasn't been cleaned in months. Dirt in the corners, floor is greasy, more greasy prints all over the counter long window. There is a large acrylic box on the counter with a handle they pass food through that was opened by 7+ people in 20 mins and never cleaned between.
The food was OK. I tried the crab stick appetizer, and curiously it was a 5" piece of imitation crab that had been rolled in a fine panko and fried. Like a mozzarella cheese stick...but a fake crab leg???? The shrimp lo mein was well cooked, but the fried rice paired with it was underdone and crunchy in places. Staff were friendly, service was quick. The place seemed pretty busy while we were there.
If you want some quick and cheap Chinese, this'll do. Just remember to wash...
Read moreUPDATE REVIEW If I could give negative stars I would. We were loyal customers going there sometimes twice a day but they have gone tremendously downhill when it comes to customer service you can give specific directions and they do the exact opposite you can order something and because they add three pieces of something different then it’s a completely different order, NO! Good luck ordering, you need it because you might not get what the menu says or what you specifically ask for.
We usually love this place! Especially once they reopened after the pandemic, I don’t know if they got a new chef but OMG, GOOD. Unfortunately, we just ordered for Christmas and it was horrible, I know they are one of the few that are open today and probably had to pre-make a lot of stuff because of demand and despite that we still had to wait an hour for food I didn’t eat. Great place just don’t order on...
Read moreI tried this place yesterday for the first time. My usual go-to for Chinese is Bamboo Garden, but wanted to see how this was since it's closer. Honestly, I wasn't thrilled. I was actually a little disappointed. I got a lunch special shrimp lo mein and an order of crab rangoon. It came with a side of pork fried rice. I don't really like fried rice, but tried it just in case the pork made it better. It didn't. The crab rangoon were good but really greasy. The shrimp lo mein was really salty, which is not what I was expecting. Could be because of the shrimp (I usually get vegetable lo mein at Bamboo Garden and it has more of a sweet sauce). It also upset my stomach (gas), more than Chinese food usually does for me. My husband wasn't impressed with the general tso's either, so we'll stick with our usual and probably...
