Guadalupe's Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

updated a year later I feel I was to harsh the first time, I have up my rating from 4 to 5 stars. This place has come a long ways in a year even during a pandemic. I go here now atleast 2 days a week for lunch. There quality is far beyond salsa grille, Chipotle, Qdoba and moes by a mile now. I usually get the three tacos with barbacoa or chicken or mixed. There salsa is ssoo good and guac is amazing as well. There pineapple water is to die for as well. Only complaint is I wish they would eventually have a salsa bar after the pandemic ends. They have four salsa now but adding a few more would be amazing. I LOVE YOU GUADALUPES!!!!

So tried this place today with a buddy of mine and it was pretty good. I ordered the taco meal with 3 tacos, one was chicken, one steak and one barbacoa. I had the corn tortillas for my shells. First off the food was pretty good barbacoa was delicious, the steak was good as well the chicken was the outlier here. To me it was very bland and unflavorful. Put the other two meats were on point. The red salsa was delicious as well. I will try the queso next time. So why the 4 stars instead of 5 they flour and corn tortillas are pre packaged I wish they would go above and beyond the normal "Chipotle, Qdoba, salsa grille, bandidos etc" and make fresh tortillas. But this place is a good eatery. Especially being close to my place of work...

Tried to place an online order. Took me to a separate website. Went through the entire order selecting every single thing that we wanted for multiple meals. Entered my credit card information. Then it said the order cannot be processed. Nothing wrong with this credit card, I use it every day. Then there is no phone number listed for this location on their website or on Google. Ridiculous. I live local and was looking forward to giving this place some business. UPDATE: I still have not tried online ordering since this review was posted. However, I did go in and get food and it is good. So I started going there on somewhat of a regular basis. My favorite thing to get was the large chips and guacamole. Just went in there and I see they decide to raise the price on it by a whopping 22%. They also raised the prices on their other menu items. I will be going elsewhere until they decide to put the pricing back to a reasonable amount This is March 2022. We will see...

I've been here 2 times now. The first time I came in, it was super busy. The staff was extremely nice tho! I ordered a chicken bowl and they very easily talked me into a big wine slushy which was the 2 choices mixed together. First off, the wine slushy was amazing! And super strong for a wine slushy! Definitely worth the $9. Unfortunately I think they must have forgotten to season the chicken or something idk. But my food was very very disappointing. Incredibly bland. I tried to fix it at home but ended up throwing it away. I talked to some friends and I seemed to just have gotten a not so great batch. I went back and they were not busy this time. I told the lady about last time and she apologized and asked if I wanted to taste the options first this time and then pick. So I did. All the meat was REALLY good. I got the shredded beef bowl and it was amazing! Super friendly staff once again and they definitely redeemed themselves lol ill...
