My family was hungry, and Lee's was something we don't have in the Atlanta area as far as we know. (We were visiting.) At 8:05pm on Saturday, the dining room was locked. I'm not sure if there was a sign on the door with differing hours for the dining room versus the drive through, but the information didn't seem to be "at a glance" online. Okay. It closes at 9, and the drive thru was open. My nephew and I went through the drive thru. And we were greeted by AI. Our order was taken by AI. And it was sort of incorrectly managed - by AI. I don't feel comfortable placing food orders by AI for this reason. This was my first experience with it. It was a bit shocking to come across, as I come from a much larger city, and none of our restaurants have audio AI at the drive thru. I feel it severely limits the human experience of being able to ask questions if needed.
Well. We pay and receive our food. The girl at the window seemed to be a newer employee learning the ropes. Certain chicken types ordered were out of stock, so some adjustments were made and accepted.
When we got home, we realized we paid for and received 1 meal with a drink and two meals without drinks, while I know we ordered four meals, and we said meals to the AI and repeated a meal as the same as another (but didn't receive), and we were only asked by the AI what was wanted for a drink once, which I thought was a little weird.
The food was good, but not blow-me-away. I have had better...
Read moreSorry that we dropped by 5 minutes before closing!!!! Yes, we went into this place not knowing that it was closing. As you can see we had a small meal. It would not take us no more then five minutes to eat. There was a person mopping the floor that told us after we sat down that the door are going to to be locked and to let them know when we are done so we can be let out. A few minutes later this female supervisor if that what IT was told us that they was close and WE had to stop eating and leave the store. Tell me... Is this the way you treat a paying customer? I have work at many fast food place that I know there are going to be those that will come in right before closing. I will inform them that we are about to close and the dining room is currently closed but I will love to take your order and make it for take out. If there is any diner still eating I will tell them that we are closed now and will be locking the door and tell them to finish eating and let's us know when you are done. Another words. I will never never inconvenience my customers and make them feel unwelcome. I always allow them to enjoy their meals so that way they keep coming back and...
Read moreI did an online order with 4 pot pies. I go to this location fairly often. I order thru the app each time. Today was not a good experience. I ordered. I arrived and called for my curbside pickup. I was told (by the manager) it would be a 2 minute wait. So I waited with my car running for 10 minutes!!! A worker came out and told me it would be a little longer and asked if I would like a drink. I asked how much longer. She told me 15 to 20 minutes! My 2 minute wait turned into 30!!! When I got my food 30 minutes after the scheduled time, I asked to see a manager. I simply wanted an explanation. She told me she let her employees know that the pies were for me and were waiting on 2 more to finish baking. She then told me they gave them to a drive thru customer. Ummm what? She made the employee come out and tell me about the error. Why wasn't my meal comped? With these errors I should've at least received a coupon. I'm very disappointed all around....
