Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. 3 tries. 3 fails. Moved to the area of waynedale 2 months ago. 1st visit they never greeted me at the drive thru lane. I had to go park and walk in to order. I then ordered a value meal. She confirmed the sandwich of the #3 I ordered was a double qp. I was given a sandwich and no fries or drink. When asked, the manager told me that's what I ordered, a double qp. The person behind me then said I had ordered a #3, the manager then told me I just wanted to have a bad experience before I came there that day. Total time for one sandwich, 23 minutes. Went across street to Arby's for my fries and drink.
So I tried again 3 weeks later. Ordered the same thing (I'm a creature of habit) without onions. Received the sandwich with ONLY onions. Total time spent for wrong sandwich and cold fries, 17 minutes.
Ok it had to be bad luck right? Now they've changed the drive thru, so you park and they bring it out to you. (Facepalm) I order two sandwiches, and ask both be made that way with no onions, the person confirms the second will be made like the first. After 12 minutes, a car sitting there since before I arrived, finally gets served, then another guy walks in and immediately back out with his order. He says some are already ready, but they are too busy to bring them out. We wait, one of the sandwiches is wrong. I wait for another. Total time spent for the right 2 sandwiches, 26 minutes.
I'm done here. I sincerely hope mcDonald's either closes this location, or the entire staff gets replaced. This is a crying shame for what used to be one of my favorite fast food...
Read moreI would give Zero Stars if it were an option. After tonight's wasted half hour I decided enough is enough, I tried to give you a chance. Tonight was the straw that broke the camel's back. As per usual I ordered in the app, yet again it says there is a problem "on their end" "so go inside to the counter and give them the code on my screen". Well per the norm the inside is locked, so I hopped in the drive thru line and wait and wait. Finally I get to the order screen, side note where they have signage stating if not asked about mymcdonalds rewards they will give 2 free chocolate chip cookies. Well they didn't ask so I proceed to let them know of the app issue and yet again I'm spoken to with an attitude, not the first time. They check this and that and even ask "if I have the device with me that I ordered on", and "yes I do" of course. So I say "so how can you help me" and the employee with the attitude says "well you can place an order and just pay for it". I had enough and just left. Mind you without the signage promised cookies. As stated above this is the final issue with this McDonald's in a long line of many visits, most having a problem in one way or another.
To whomever owns this McDonald's on Bluffton Road in Fort Wayne Indiana. Get it together, better technology, better employees, better management, all around get better. Start over. By far the worst McDonald's in Fort Wayne Indiana.
I will now drive out of the way to get McDonald's by my home. It will definitely...
Read moreWe went to use the bathroom around 5:25 or maybe 5:35; no problems there, bathroom was pretty decent. I got a free water cup which I did appreciate, but what I didn't quite appreciate was that the door was locked when we attempted to leave. We unlocked the door for ourselves at around 5:40 or so; then a young Amish family was hoping that they could get some supper. Only to see them shortly thereafter be turned away seemingly. Yes, I do admit that the drive-thru is typically more busy at McDonald's and likely the employees were busy; however I object to what my worst thoughts on the matter might've been. That perhaps, and again I might be wrong, but in my worst thoughts I think that this store turned away this Amish family. Which devastates my heart to even imagine this. Without the Amish communities of our wonderful Midwest, I couldn't imagine what we as a region within the United States would be. So I emplore you, do not turn away such an important group to our regional and National identity. This community has meant so much to me and my family, we inspire to be more like them. You truly do not know how much my heartaches for them, and yes; I do recognize this is just one McDonald's and it's just seemingly one greasy Burger. It just to me is a big deal as these are working folk who would give you the shirt off their back if you asked nicely enough. Please, I again emplore you to try a little harder if at all possible. Otherwise, please take care and have a...
