Such a frustrating experience at this Taco Bell today. The girl taking my order was rude to me as soon as I pointed out she forgot to get me my drink I ordered. Then, she missed that I said I wanted cinnamon twists. I checked the bag, and mentioned they weren’t in the bag. She said I never ordered them. I know I ordered them, but that’s fine no big deal mistakes happen. I can pay and you can get me the item you missed. All good. Except she slams the window in my face for another girl to come and say “it’ll be 20 mins for cinnamon twists.” I questioned what I was hearing, because 20 minutes for cinnamon twists seems kind of crazy. She said “yep” so I said alrighty, I’ll wait. She slams the window in my face. The original girl comes back and tells me it’ll be 1.39 for the cinnamon twist. I give her $2.00. She slams the window. About a minute later (NOT 20 mins) a new guy comes and hands me a bag with a receipt and cinnamon twists. I ask where my change is, he says “uh….it’s in the bag.” I look in said bag and no change is in there. He tries arguing with me saying it is in there, so I hand him back the bag to look. He looks in the bag, and then slams the window in my face. New guys comes to window with 2 cents and I say, “I should be getting 61 cents in change.” And he says they employee who took my money said the money was in the bag when she handed it to me. I said “you have the bag! Do you see any change in there?” He has no idea what’s going on. We argue back and forth about people lying about getting correct change. Really at the end of the day, I don’t think anyone was intentionally being dishonest. I think they were really quick to act like I was trying to steal 60 cents and that really rubs me the wrong way. This was so unnecessary. The food was of such subpar quality for how much they charge..why would anyone want to go through this much drama for Taco Bell? I’ve never had this kind of experience at a Taco Bell and I’ll probably...
Read moreDrive through. "Customer" was obviously trying to get free food. Service worker refused to placate him, so was turned over to manager. Manager says "Did you talk to a manager about your complaint?" Guy says "Yeah, yeah. I talked to someone." Manager says "Well if you don't have a name of a manager, I can't help you." Guy says "I know I talked to someone." Manager "Well it wasn't me...was it" Guy "Actually, yeah, you know, I think it was you." Manager "Oh, it was me? I'm pretty sure it wasn't. I haven't talk to anyone. Oh you recognize my voice? Well okay".
COME ON. You KNOW you didn't talk to this guy, you KNOW he's trying to get free food. You KNOW hes holding up the drive through line. Feed pigeons once and they'll always be back, crapping on cars and people. DON'T_FREAKING_FEED_HIM. We (paying customers) waited for 10 minutes in a drive through of 2 people while this guy told a woman who knew she didn't talk to him that she did to get free food. The service worker was so flustered by this guy she couldn't get our order right. We repeated parts of it 4 times.
Words for management: If you have a customer complaint, don't deal with it over the drive through intercom. Invite the customer inside, or go out to meet them. Don't make paying customers wait on thieves. Also, back up your service workers. You know he was stiffing you, she knew he was stiffing you. She tried to stop it and you gave up,...
Read moreHow can a fast food restaurant become this terrible without corporate coming along and snatching it out of the franchisee's hands? Its gotten to the point where we'll drive out of our way if we really want Taco Bell just to avoid this store. Its totally hit or miss, if you're driving buy and there's more than two cars in the drive thru don't even try it. The drive thru is designed in such a way that once in there, if another car comes in behind you you're stuck. Doesn't matter how enraged you become, at that point you might as well order, they may have designed it that way. You'll be sitting there, waiting for the line to move. When the car at the window finally gets their food its like one tiny bag! What was the holdup? Well, if you ever make the mistake of going inside, you'll see what it was. Mass chaos and shallow staff that couldn't care less about your wait or the accuracy of your order. They'll take orders as fast as they can then take forever to fulfill them, the area surrounding the soda fountain will be filled with people milling around just waiting. You're lucky if you get even an inkling of an apology. Check out the busiest times scale, anywhere from 11am to 9pm don't even try it, its a joke. Seriously, Taco Bell if you see this and the other reviews, do something, they're...
