The food was amazing and worth the price. Compared to most food places including fast food the cost is about the same but the quality and the quantity is much better. And after eating fast food you usually end up hungry a couple hours later. Not at Mitchell's at Mitchell's I took half of my entree home and I was not hungry the rest of the evening enabling me to have the remainder for lunch the following day. The atmosphere is very relaxed very open concept light and airy with plenty of seating without being overcrowded there were plenty of TVs playing a wide variety of sports shows there was also a live band setting up as well as a jukebox and arcade. There is something for everyone at Mitchell's. The staff is absolutely amazing my server Nikki was very thorough very bubbly and outgoing and made sure that I had everything I needed. Anytime any of the other wait staff would walk by our table they would ask if we had been served or if we needed anything so they work well as a team to make sure that all your needs are met. I got the chance to meet the boss and she was a very pleasant very outgoing individual as well and also made sure to do rounds through the dining room often checking on other diners to make sure that their experience was top notch. We went through the daytime and even though they had music playing loud enough that everyone could hear it clearly it wasn't so loud that it drowned out conversations, not even phone conversations. I am very much looking forward to returning next time I'm in town for another meal, and I would highly recommend this place to not only close friends and family but others as well. Thank you Mitchell's for creating the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal without feeling stressed overcrowded rushed or awkward. UPDATE had a second visit while in town, actually checked out the full arcade with too many options to list and had a blast with the grandbabies. This is definitely the best place for a great family night out. The food was impeccable as usual and the service was great. They have axe throwing and darts pool tables and bowling, a full collection or crane games air hockey like 6 pinball machines a car racing game and even bean bag toss. Indoor and outdoor seating available and a great ambient environment for laid...
Read moreFood is awful, service isn't like any bar, you literally have to go order or be dry, not what youd expect from a bar on Fridays & Saturdays night. I honestly don't know how they make $$ if your not selling drinks. I ordered food few times, once it was ok, then next time I watched it sit at their bar never got delivered watched 10 people talking over it, until I walked up and asked if this was my food, it was cold I said make a new one, I said feel it it's cold, so bartender guy sent it back to kitchen refried same filthy talked over baskets and brought it out....not only was it double fried nasty we touched it I said I wanted new....nope I wouldn't chance it. Ever been to a bar with a DJ you can't make requests from, they told girl that was with me to go next door, it was a country line dance song too. What I noticed is everyone wants to be in charge and no one wants to work. Sadly the best dude is the bouncer RAY, he greets everyone every week, he's always busy. We really appreciate him, he is on top of front door, bull and security. For the life of me I can't say his name at moment, bald guy!!! He's cool! Who owns this bar?? It should be making $$ bank! The food is just off, not worth it and if they are gonna contaminate a fryer what else might they do, yuk! Line dancing is fun, lessons are fun, they have people just standing middle of floor drinking though later in evening, you'd think they would move off the floor so folks can dance, but no one who works here cares at all. You'd think a Dj could recommend drinks off the dance floor, or maybe let's move to the side if your not dancing. It's like nothing is nobody's job. They had young girl she was good, and then TONYA WAS THE BEST, seem to give the best dance lessons and time to your customers likes, and needs. I noticed it slowly falling apart to doing more advanced or nothing, and there's lots of people who used to go more often, many must go elsewhere. They should do first and sec level line dances, then do special events for advanced. I think doing mid week would drive business, weekends are freebies people go naturally out. I think they are missing opportunities. I worked as a DJ 25 years, and I did it to serve the public, and no ask or request was shot down....that's just ridiculous! I'm gonna tell it...
Read more4 stars for the bar, I usually have a good experience if I make a reservation. Last night (6/18) we had Sheila and she did a good job with our big group. Although I was greeted at the attached axe throwing place by a very obnoxious and rude Sara. I would give that place 0 stars if I could. I had some coupons for “free throws” but there were no specifics on the cards. As soon as I started to inquire further and expressed that we were interested in the free throws she continued to act rude. Screaming in my ear that only one person could use them and that we would still have to pay, which we were fine with. When I turned to ask my group of 10 friends if we all wanted to throw, which would’ve been $20 a person I might add… I was again barked at that we needed to have close toed shoes and listen to the directions. Therefore I said “no thanks, we will go elsewhere.” After I said that, she then changed her demeanor and started to act nicer. My friends and I have been greeted by her before to get into the bar with a rude greeting, or lack of a greeting. Not even a “hello” or a “how are you”. We were being quite frankly barked at by her that there was a cover and that we would have to wait “for awhile”…we weren’t even told a time! I usually have a great time and am treated greatly by the waitresses, bar tenders, other staff very well. But this Sara seriously needs an attitude check cause so far Mitchell’s has lost quite a bit of money from my group of 12 that enjoys coming to the bar.
Edit: we got told it would be a $5 cover before we were even acknowledged with a hello last night or asked if we were wanting to sit/stand/etc. okay e asked how long of a wait to sit with just TWO and the hostesses weren’t even able to tell us how long it might be? How can you run a restaurant like that? We tried it one more time but...
