I love Penn Station! My son first took me to one in Ohio 10+ years ago. Hadn't been back til i moved to Fort Wayne. Forgot how much I love it! Reading all the reviews I have to give an honest opinion. Prices, as with anything go up. The cost of the bread, veggies, .eat etc go up and they have to increase to keep up. And the person complaining no one would answer the phone to place an order was probably calling when the other person complaining that the service was slow. Ever think they were too busy to answer the phone? Or ever think they were slow because they were new or maybe they got devastating news about something or a tragedy and trying to keep themselves together to come to work. Come on people. Let's build each other up! You don't know whats going on with other people as they dont know a slowed up service made you late for work. We all need to stop being self entitled and look at the big picture as a whole, not an "it's all about me" mentality. Penn Station, thank you for your delicious food! Now get ready! I mention this to the cashier-a wonderful black lady, she was great. She calls over the manager, and dude acts like I'm asking for the nuclear launch codes. It's a sandwich shop buddy. Coupons are designed to get more traffic, this man is driving customers away. The attitude, he had was like how dare I have coupons. Even after the cashier was like yeah, he did call ahead. Bottom line, not sure I'm going back. Edit - I have since learned that some stores have employees comment on here to boost the score. Talk about digging in your heels. Thanks for the response corporate, instead of offering another coupon, you fix the employees. Where in my review was the coupon or the food...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOnce again I have a problem with this location. It's the same guy, don't know his name, but he completely ignores me when I come here. I think it was Wednesday this past week. He is chit chatting with an employee and all I need is for him to hand me my order. I wait 3-4 minutes before speaking up and then he cops an attitude with me. He claims he never saw me which was a complete boldfaced lie. When I come here other times the service is really great. This guy has some sort of problem and he thinks his conversations with staff about things outside thuis business are more important than customer service.
