EDITED TO ADD: Husband got 'food poisoning' from his meal. He got very ill, diarrhea within a hour after eating here. He was very sick all day, and all weekend. Severely diarrhea. (Origional review)~Ate breakfast here. We would return, despite the low rating we gave. One of us ordered a skillet meal. Ordered veggie one with cheese. The amount of onions used was overwhelming. It tasted like fried onions. Thats the only flavor it had. Very heavy on that. There was less than a drop of cheese, basically none. The hashbrowns were cooked in with the eggs, not a big deal in itself. But add that there were way too much onions, and basically no cheese. And then in stead of the green peppers, they substituted spinach. But didn't saute it into the meal. Just put some leaves on top. Umm, ok. I did tell the waitress I wasn't happy, she didn't offer to have it re-made. Did discount the meal a couple of bucks, but I'd rather it was remade. Toast was burnt all around the edge,(actually black) and they put that piece under a piece that was toasted ok. I guess to hide it? Waitress was fast, did her job ok. Just would've rather had the meal replaced. Now I know to say lite on onions, and need to add extra cheese to just get what other restaurants would call regular amount.

Visited Sun Rise Cafe this morning and it was very good. I was tipped off because they catered an event at my company this week and I really loved the skillets. At the catered event I tried the Country Skillet and The Meat Lovers Skillet. Both were amazing. I'm usually not a fan of the hash browns or potatoes in these skillets but the flavoring in these two were absolutely worth it. I took the opportunity to visit the restaurant as well and the skillet sizes are reasonable and the ratio of toppings to potato is skewed toward the toppings. I like the fact that the skillets are not swimming and potatoes. I had the breakfast sandwich which I'm not sure is on the menu but they were able to make it for me. I ordered it on an English muffin with sausage and ham, two eggs which I chose to have over hard instead of scrambled, and I chose cheddar cheese. The meat on the sandwich was very flavorful and the grilled English muffin was an excellent choice. I highly recommend any of these dishes for an amazing breakfast.

We were searching for a breakfast place that was more than just a common chain restaurant. I read some reviews of this place - and we decided to check it out. When we arrived - it was PACKED! People standing outside, people standing inside. We both looked at each other and were like we are not getting in here. We walked in and were greeted by the owner who said it would be a 15 min wait or we were welcome to sit at the bar. Quickly, we went to the bar. All I can say is WOW! We LOVED this place! The employees were top notch! The food - amazing! Everyone was so friendly and worked together like a well-oiled machine. This place reminded me of some of my favorite diners in NY. Highly recommend checking this place out!

I'm a newly single Mom, and I was hesitant to take my kids out by myself for Mother's Day, but I was pleasantly welcomed, and I'm not talking about them letting me in, I'm talking like... My 10 month old, and 3 year old were pretty messy, as expected.. But my 10 month old dropped some pieces of his waffle on the floor, and one of the.. bus boys ? I don't know if that's the right term.. anyways, he came over and picked it up and threw it away for me! He also offered a booster seat for my oldest, something else, and when I forgot to ask for a box when I got the receipt, he came by and asked if I wanted one and got it for me, then when I spaced it and left the box at the table, he brought it up to me when I was paying! My waitress was also VEry kind! She didn't check on me a whole bunch, which was nice because I had my hands a little full
