I have been here before. That is what brought us back for our last visit. Sara's is what I would call an American Food Diner restaurant. The menu is full of Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner choices. Yesterday, we ordered off of a Lunch Specials menu. I shared the Chicken Stir-Fry meal with Fried Rice and Spring Rolls. Now, in my mind I never think of a Stir-Fry as a certain 'style'. I enjoyed the dish, the Spring Rolls were nice and crispy and the filling was tasty. The Rice had the pieces of Egg and the Vegetables and Chicken were nice. The chicken was tender. The Sauce - on the chicken and vegetables, that was my problem. I found it a bit salty, that (cliche') style Sauce. I would suggest getting it on the side so it can be controlled - limiting it on the food. That being said, my daughter seemed to have no issue with it and ate everything. We also ordered, a Mac and Cheese stuffed Quesadilla that had ham and bacon. I am told that it was Very Good with the Mac and Cheese being very creamy. The meal also came with a bowl of Green Bean Casserole. Over all it was an enjoyable meal. The waitress did a great job. Also, the Atmosphere has an Americana theme with presidential and first lady references. In the end, I wish I had ordered off their Regular Menu which has plenty of choices I really like including the All Day Breakfast option.

Quite disappointing food. Usually the pecans are IN pecan pancakes. Also the pancakes were quite over mixed, which makes them chewy and tough and hard to swallow. The gravy on the biscuits and gravy was under salted. My wife's beef Manhattan was pretty decent, but it might have been beef from a can with the gravy already in the can. Also I would have thought it would come on something a step up from bagged white sandwich bread from the store. The bacon was under cooked, not crisp, the fat part was floppy. The eggs was cooked well. The menu is like 16 pages which says to me they can't focus on what they do best, and to be able to make all of the things on the menu they are getting a lot of the makings from frozen food and a can. They did nail the whole Patriotic America food joint thing, which is what you want while you eat chicken and waffles, Donald Trump's picture judging you above the table. The space is a little tight, but clean. The staff were quite friendly, but I don't go to a restaurant to meet new friends in going to be served food, and it should be better than what I can buy at Kroger and warm up at home. This was not. Bare minimum requirements of any restaurant is clean and friendly, so, a start for each of those.

I have celiac and I recently tried Sara's for the first time based on the reviews on here and a well-known GF food app. They have a gluten free menu, including waffles, and my food was served on different-colored plates. Unfortunately, I had an obvious gluten reaction. I hate to leave negative reviews & I know I took a chance because of their disclaimer that they can't guarantee the food is completely gluten free, but I hoped and thought I would be safe based on the other reviews. Maybe it was somewhat of a fluke given that others have obviously been able to eat here with success, just be warned that it's not quite a slam dunk. For what it's worth, I ordered the breakfast wrap with bacon, hash browns, and a waffle. It was good but not worth the suffering. But I would recommend it if you don't have issues with gluten.

So…here’s the thing. I had to delete a 5⭐️ review to post this one. I came back for the amazing Beef Manhattan and received wonderful service from Hannah. Unfortunately there was a stray hair in my green beans. To top it off, we were sitting in a perfect spot to see that one of the male servers thought it was best to utilize the female facilities which was just a bit weird. He clearly didn’t go in to clean. Updated to add my review is based on what I experienced and reviews are for those who might consider visiting a restaurant they have never been to. I will always share my honest opinion no matter the outcome and share my experience. Needless to say, there will not be a third time visiting this establishment.

I found this suggestion using my gluten free app while in town for show choir. They were super busy. I was elated when I told my Server I have celiac and I didnt get the normal confused or off put look but she responded "me too". She assured me that they take every precautions and they've taken her experiences to incorporate changes in their processes and menu. They even serve gluten free food on colored plates to ensure its known. She also shared some of her favorite spots to go when she's out and about. Celiac can be isolating but the moment of finding community and understanding was beautiful. The food was so good. I've missed waffles and this hit the spot. Highly recommend

Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram at SNDTRAVELS and EATWELLTRAVELOFTEN 2.24.25 9:30 am Cute restaurant in a home style setting with good decor and a cast iron fireplace. The menu is quite extensive, as you can tell. I had the country man's breakfast done with scrambled eggs and bacon. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the flavors were very good. Diane had the French toast and eggs. Six big halves of Texas toast, and once again, the flavors were spot on. I think this is the first time I was unable to finish a breakfast dish it was so much food. Service was friendly and efficient, and we would certainly come back. Highly recommended two-thumbs up 👍 👌
