I went to the Mall over the weekend with my family to purchase a birthday gift for my daughter. After we walked around the Mall, we stopped at the food court to get some lunch. I saw Sarku Japan and wanted to try them out. We approached Sarku. I walked over to the counter to order. A young man came to take my order. He came out with an attitude. He quickly asked for my order. I told him what I wanted, and he promptly rang me up at the register. I paid for my food and moved away from the counter. A moment later, I realized they messed up with my orders and put fried rice, but I wanted steamed rice. I approached the counter again and kindly asked this young lady if she could please replace the fried rice from my steamed rice orders. With an attitude, she rolled her eyes and returned the fried rice. My order was complete. The guy that prep the food placed the food on the counter and told me they were ready. He made me close my plate where he did to other customers. My entire experience at the place was disappointing. I strongly recommend the owner to get these guys to work on their customer service skills. I don't usually get upset, but this is not necessary. Read moreI've been coming to this place for years. Always had good quality of food and was very decently priced. Just ate here today and omg did they change. They now charge for rice? When it use to be a choice of rice or noodles. They tripled in price as well. They don't stuff your container full anymore. The dumplings were over cooked. They veggies weren't even cooked. The sauce was super oily I couldn't even use my chop sticks on my rice. My husband ate here with me as well and sense when did they start using angel hair pasta for noodles? The service was horrible. They put my husband's beef and shrimp on someone else's plate then had the audacity to take it off and put it on his. The coke we ordered was flat as well. Read moreThe food is great but the staff is horribly slow and inefficient. If you try to eat there at the mall you'll be standing in line for an absurdly long time. If you try to order online for delivery or pickup you never can because they're always "temporarily closed" on all the delivery platforms.
Hopefully the owner can solve his staffing problem because I would eat here a lot more often if the wait wasn't so long and I imagine a lot of other people would, too. And of course that'd mean more profit for them so here's hoping it improves...
