Wendy's — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

Not fresh food and not friendly service! Our family has made two attempts to order and purchase the Berry Burst salad here (701 Dupont) without the spring mix in it. On the fist visit the employee advised us they could not make a special salad, that they come on the truck already made. When I questioned the freshness they stated well, we do not have any other lettuce right now, they ran out. The second visit to store # 7636 at 701 E Dupont Rd Ft Wayne Indiana, @ 7 pm Friday 6/14/19 - the employees and management stated they could not accommodate special fixing of salads- that they are all pre-made - they made them early in the morning . That does not say fresh to me! I did state that this location made the salads for me all last year and why could they not continue? The response was we can't - they come that way. What a shame that last years staff - employees and management- are gone. They knew what great service was ...The previous manager would come out and say hi to us when he was there - wow how far this Wendy's has fallen. They just do not want my business - I stated to that group last night that I would report the poor service and the lack of freshness to the web and corporate office - they stated OK!... I am very surprised with the lack of good customer service. Fortunately I do receive much better service at Chapel Ridge Wendy's off of Maysville Rd. and from store # 2160 off of Lima Rd,1610 Northland Blvd. This store stated all customers have value and it is not an issue to prepare a fresh salad without the spring mix on it. That store said they are looking forward to our next visit! I only have one experience at this location and that is all I need. I will go out of my way to go to other locations. It took forever to even get my order in when I was the only one in line. Took awhile for food. I am patient and do not mind. They apologized for the wait which I appreciated and proceeded to complain about their job and lack of people scheduled which I felt was a little unprofessional but I understood and was polite in return. The reason for the one star is because no matter the circumstances especially when having a polite patient and understanding customer you should still do your best. We got half of order right. The other half was just the wrong order all together. We were missing several items. And even the order we did get was put together very poorly. Food was very cold sloppy thrown together in bag. Overall it was not good. I didn’t even go back through to get the missing items because it just wasn’t worth it.
