Wings Etc. — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

Phew, where do I start.

My family and I came here for lunch today, there were two servers, and the restaurant was not insanely busy. We received our drinks, ordered, and we had been there at this point over an hour before we received our food. I ordered boneless wings and fries as a side, my entire meal was ice cold. I will give credit where it is due, they brought out fresh wings. My mom ordered a chicken salad, the chicken looked like it had been fried before hand then fried again once ordered. My husband and father ordered a chicken wrap which was also cold, and my son mini corn dogs and Mac and cheese. The only time we received refills is when we were practically done eating which was about an hour and 45 mins into being at the restaurant.

About 1-2 hours later we were all nauseous and not feeling good what so ever. My 1 year old son threw up all of his food. The only common denominator is everything being fried. I’m not sure if the oil isn’t being changed regularly or what, but I do know if something doesn’t change and someone gets seriously sick I’m sure there will be lawsuits.

Don't get me wrong I understand businesses being short staffed but there is absolutely no excuse for people getting sick, get your act together before you...

Thought I would try the wings here as opposed to Tower or Buffalo Wild Wings. Ordered mozzarella sticks and 10 wings, 5 mild and 5 lime pepper. The mozzarella sticks flavor was good. And they were hot and full of cheese unlike some other places where it's a breaded shell with a little cheese. I was offered marinara and ranch so I took both. I had never tried it with ranch. It was surprisingly not disgusting and I ended up eating most of them with ranch. The wings were hot and juicy as you would expect however I somewhat prefer my wings a little drier but I forgot to ask for it. No fault of theirs. The lime pepper was good but way over seasoned. And the mild was very mild and for me had almost no flavor. It seemed to be mixed with butter so it was very wet and the majority of the sauce ran off into the tray. The service was great. Fortunately I got there just as they were opening so I beat the lunch rush. I was the only one at the bar and I believe two tabletops were seated. Mozzarella sticks and 10 wings with unsweetened tea was just under 30 dollars with slightly larger than 20% tip. If you are hungry for wings and Tower is too far, this is an option. Better than Buffalo Wild Wings? If you like a smaller setting, definitely....

Okay..I usually do not leave negative reviews, BUT, this story has to be told. Took my family to (Maysville road ) Wings ETC for a night out with the wife and kids. Showed up there, got seated right away, ordered our drinks. Started feeling a little warm, so I asked the waitress if AC was working, she said no, it has not worked all day. I said OKAY, i can probably live without it ( though it was HOT in there ) . She brought our drinks out, handed me my Beer, then proceeded to DUMP all the remaining drinks on me and the table ( Including my phone ). She was obviously sorry, and panicked a little and grab a few paper towels, which of course wasn't even close enough to handle the mess on me, the table, and the floor. I told her we would just move to another table, so we did. long story , short - NO AC, WET CLOTHES, BAD PHONE- ( it dried up though ) , AND NO APOLOGY FROM THE MANAGER OR EVEN AN OFFER FOR DRINKS TO BE PAID FOR. $133.00 BILL LATER, AND NO RESPONSE FROM ANYONE IN THE STORE.

I have been going there a looooong time, and spent a ton of money in the past there. I think I am finally done, unless I hear from corporate, or at the very least the store manager, to resolve this.
