Although Iāve been here before this is by far the worst experience. I actually ordered delivery via DoorDash. Donāt do it itās a trap! The few times I have ordered delivery the quote time is never close to the actual time.
Seems to always take longer and I seriously live less than 10 minutes from this place and thatās if you hit all the lights. I will say when I order and pick up the food is always ready and 9 out of ten times correct.
The reason Iām so frustrated and angry is this last time I did the order with DD. The estimated time was about 30 minutes. Talk about a flat out lie! I ordered at 10:13pm on Friday the 29th. Didnāt receive it until around 12:30am.
The DoorDash app told me I would receive my food between 1048pm -1101pm. I check my phone shortly after I ordered and I notice there isnāt a courier assigned. No problem come back later itās almost time and Iām starving and sleepy but I really want this food. App still says same time but still no assigned person to deliver.
So I click the help button and DD says something call the store bc they take care of their own deliveries. First call 11:01 took ten minutes before someone picks up. I explain why Iām calling and this woman just starts raising her voice and basically taking her frustration out on me. She tells me that theyāre behind and the manager is cooking they have one delivery person and no one gets pipping hot food regardless of if theyāre behind or not.
Just everything a customer doesnāt want to hear $40 later and after sitting in hold. I can empathize with the bad shift but donāt take it out on me. At this point Iām getting irritated and again ask for the manager. She had the audacity to say youāll have to wait and I donāt know when he or if he will pick up. Then she just puts the phone down. Not on mute or hold just put the phone down.
I take a minute and call back itās now 11:35. Takes another several minutes before they pick up. Call is 12 mins long. Keep in mind Iām still without food. The app is showing my food is still being prepared no assigned courier and the estimated time is still 1048 -1101. Clearly thatās bs. Right before they answer it updates to the order is out for delivery and will be there at 11:15/11:20.
Someone answers and they spew a bunch of salad which I later figured out they had just answered hello and put me on hold but it was said so quickly I thought they had hung up on. So I called back this will be a 20 minute call with the worst manager I think his name was Chris.
Short story he keeps repeating in an overly passive aggressive voice dripping with sarcasm that heās sorry for everything and sorry it took an hour to cook my food and thatās heās always understaffed. Blah blah. At one point Iām like your explanation makes no sense I order two hours ago and app now shows the food is out for delivery but itās still not here. This was at 1145pm. He goes on to patronize me more and he says do you want me to call my driver and talk to her until she makes it to your house? Just idiotic and ridiculous behavior. The worst part heās the manager.
I ask for the contact information for the district manager and he refuses. Didnāt skip a beat didnāt mince words just said nope Iām not giving you the number. I responded with I didnāt ask for a number I asked for contact information and an email is okay. He still refused and hung up on me.
I finally get my food at 1230. Still no contact information for the District manager. No discounts no refunds. Just kinda hot food. Donāt waste your time on the stuffed pepperoni bread itās better in the picture. Wasted time Iāll never get back.
Maybe had they be proactive since he clearly knew he was understaffed on a holiday weekend he would have borrowed employees or turned off his 3rd party order system and only took phone orders or maybe adjusted the times to be realistic...

An hour later and nothing was delivered, I checked at the tracker online and my order seemed to not been worked on, so I called the store and someone picked up in the rudest possible way. I gave her my order number, address and phone number so she could look up my order, after she did all she said was oh, yeah we are behind on our orders like an hour and a half...she didn't say: Ma'am I apologize for the inconvenience and trouble this is causing you but we have been running behind. I am not one to ask for free stuff, I just want a good customer service! after her idiotic" yeah we are behind in orders response" I asked her how long until I received the order and she said it will be 5 minutes. I was like ok, I'll wait five more minutes...well another 40 minutes went by and nothing! I tried to call back to cancel my order because the waiting period was just ridiculous. Their phone was busy as if they left it disconnected to not accept more calls. 2 hours later! 2 hours and someone finally someone knocked on my door and guess what "They forgot my drink!" no apology, no nothing....In this case if they knew they were so behind, they should've stopped taking orders or call the new orders to let them know they food was not going to arrive until 2-3 hours later. This way at least I would've had the option to cancel my order immediately instead of having to wait such a long time and on top of it deal with unappreciative employees. However, today when the delivery driver went to the wrong house and I missed his call (called him back of course; no answer) I called the store. The female manager I spoke to was rude and placed the blame on me for not answering my phone when the driver went to the wrong house. When I asked to speak to her manager, she said he was busy until I offered to go into the store. Then he was available. They offered to bring me my old food once it made it back to the store and Informed him I wouldnāt pay for old food. Since it had been over half an hour since the food had been made I wanted fresh food. The General Manager Austinās tone led me to believe he didnāt agree with this solution but complied anyway. Well, after a couple of moments I realized all of the people that are now aggravated at me for their mistake are going to be handling my food so I canceled the order. Austin said that spitting in food isnāt how they do things so I hung up quickly but in my opinion if your employees are getting away with speaking to your customers that way no telling what they can do to the food.
