Sadly, this is probably the 8th or more time we've been here and I FINALLY thought to write a review. What's wrong with me?!
What we LOVE about this place - it's a small place where people remember you. Our "sushi guys" remember you! But we also sit at the bar and always engage with them. We walk in and they remember us -a small town feel!
But the point is, being near sooooo many places in Fort Worth and Dallas, we keep coming back here. Quality, experience, and value is why we come back. This looks like a modest establishment in a shopping center, but its quality food and service. Yes its "small" , yes it may take a wait if you come during peak time, BUT you will get Quality regardless because the servers see you, the sushi bar sees you, and everyone makes sure you have a good experience.
Literally doing this review at the restaurant and stopping now becausey bf said, "stop, we don't want this place getting busier!" 😀
We always get apps and sushi, and today we finally tried the ramen. Yaaaas. Just as good or better as a very popular ramen place in fort worth.
Even when fort worth is my oyster, I still choose Edohana!
I recently had the pleasure of celebrating a birthday party at Edohana Sushi and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for a delightful evening. Parking is easy and the wait staff were very nice.
The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the sushi boat for four. The presentation was impeccable, and the variety was impressive. The rolls, especially the Rainbow, Dragon, and Spicy Tuna, were crafted to perfection, each offering a unique blend of flavors and textures that hit the spot especially after a long day.
The four pieces each of tuna, salmon, yellowtail, shrimp, white tuna fish, and crabstick were fresh and beautifully presented. The sashimi, with three pieces of tuna, salmon, yellowtail, whitefish, and octopus, was a testament to the chef's expertise. Each slice was fresh, thick, and melted in the mouth.
To complement our meal, I had an appletini, which were refreshingly crisp and the perfect balance of sweet and tart.
All in all, Edohana Sushi provided a memorable birthday celebration with top-notch food and drinks. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and delightful sushi experience...
Read moreit is a good place for some sushi. The team in the establishment is friendly, but the decor can use a LOT of work. For example, sitting at the sushi bar, all you see in the glass is unwrapped fish, with the wrappers just cluttered against the glass. Behind the sushi chefs are a bunch of take out plates, bowls, wrappers, bags, ... basicaly a storage shelf of stuff... so basically, how can you call this place a nice place, if all you see is Sports on the screen, storage goods behind the chefs, and wrappers pressed against the glass. (mainly why I give it only 3 stars)
The food is good, all I have had was the sushi and rolls. Nothing fancy or unique about the sushi, it is what you expect, and the food tastes nice. It does not carry with it any unique oders, which means the food is fairly fresh.
if you sit at one of the 6 tables in the establishment, the view does not get better... but if you eat at one of the two 4 person tables in the back, you will be pressed again other "storage" itemes.
dont go here for the atmosphere.... take out, it will serve its purpose.
I have been there twice, and each time I question why ... maybe it is time to find another...
