Krab Kingz wasn’t bad… there were some hits and some misses.🤷🏽‍♀️ #fypシ #seafood #boymomlife #foodreview

Our first time at this restaurant was not a great experience. We entered the restaurant from the upper level (back door) so we didn’t have to climb the long flight of stairs. We walked past the bathrooms to find 2 young ladies standing at a podium on their phones. I told them it was our first time there. One young lady pointed to a giant chalkboard wall which displayed the menu. We were told to view that, return to the podium to order, and could sit where ever we wanted. We went there because the online menu said they had king crab legs. I didn’t see these on the menu wall so asked about. I was told they were out. So, we ordered 3 different “platters” which included our menu items, corn, sausage, an egg, and potatoes. The ordering process was kind of difficult and the ladies weren’t very helpful. They seemed perturbed when we asked questions. We finished ordering our food & drinks & were told they’d bring it out. We decided to sit in the back room. The main dining area was extremely loud (music) so dinner conversation would have been limited. The facility is very understated and plain. Tables look like a fast food pizza joint. The back room had a better aesthetic and was quieter. It did, however, have slot machines back there which made it feel pretty tacky. When paying $45-$55 for a single meal, I expected a lot more ambiance. It became obvious after about 5 minutes that nobody was going to bring our drinks. I went back to the podium (the girls were on their phones again) to ask if I needed to get them myself from the stand up coolers and was told yes. We also ordered 2 more adult beverages at that time which we watched the young lady pour into glasses. I had to ask her for the bottle of beer we’d ordered previously. I guess it’s a self serve kinda place? When our food was brought, it was presented in styrofoam takeout boxes. We were given a plastic basket with napkins, ketchup packets, lobster bibs, and plastic forks. Again, we spent over $150 for 3 meals and we get styrofoam & plastic while dining in? We had to ask for seafood crackers. Then I went back to the podium again (yep, on their phones) and asked if they had any real forks. The girl said “you mean metal?” Uh… yes. She reached under the podium and presented metal forks. We only had one young lady come by shortly after we were served to ask if we were ok. Never saw anyone again until we walked passed them on our way out. That wasn’t pleasant either. As we walked past the restrooms, the odors were awful. I know this is a lot of negative feedback. I want to be clear the food was very good. It is the atmosphere and service that were subpar. For the $$ we paid, I expected so much more. This may be a great takeout place, but I would not classify it as a restaurant.

Portion. Portion. Portion!!! I got the #2 Loaded Platter (for myself lol). For less than $60, this is a LOT of food. I drove 30 mins from Fort Worth to try this place and they did not disappoint. The places near my area charge more for waaayy less food. My only complaint is the sauce, I got Cajun flavor but the sauce was just butter. The seasoning was sprinkled on the crab, which tasted great but I wish it had an actual Cajun sauce. The seasoning had a slight kick to it, not overly spicy and the food isn’t salty. But let’s talk about the portion lol. So many potatoes, shrimp, and 2 giant sausage links, not one tiny piece like other places. This even came with 2 eggs, other places charge like $4 to add 2 eggs. I have plenty leftovers for tomorrow. Oh and this plate was supposed to come with 3 snow crabs but it looks like I got lagniappe! Yea baby! I’m from New Orleans so I’m picky about my seafood, this was well worth it. I will take that drive again.

Went in on a Friday evening, after searching the web we found this place not to far. I gave the food 5 stars because the flavors were great and portions were plenty! Service was lacking as there was only one girl trying to run the whole show. She was polite and offered to explain the menu on the wall but never made it to us as she was at the bar stocking, then taking calls for to go orders. We finally decided on what to try and approached the cash register, she took our order as soon as she finished on the phone order. Waitress brought silverware and napkins to our table but forgot drinks, we reminded her, but they never came. She brought out our food and we requested drinks again she apologized and said she would bring them, mind you she only brought the adult entrees, my 5 year old was still waiting for her tender basket. After waiting a good 10 minutes I went to check on my daughters food and she was on the phone taking another to go order. Ok, I grabbed her food from the window and sat back at our table. We still had no drinks and by that time my daughter was choking because of the spice on her food. My fault, I didn't tell them not to add any seasoning. Still no drinks so I went to go ask for drinks again, she was on the phone still so I grabbed a water from the cooler across from the register. I felt bad for the girl, she was busy working not purposely trying to ignore us but this was very frustrating. Atmosphere looked like it could be great maybe just isn't on Friday night. It was quiet and chill, I may just order "to...

Please save your money I spent $84 last night to start off the online prices are WAY different from when you walk in , when I called in to place my order the lady at the front with the bun was very unprofessional she was rushing to get me off the phone when I had questions about the menu since it WAS my first time at this place , when I finally came in to make my payment from viewing there in restaurant menu I was at a total shock because prices where different but since I had already placed my order & had them cook it I just took my L . BUT ONCE I got in the car to view my food since they wrapped it so tight without letting me view my plate which is my fault for not looking while I was there the shrimp breading was soft falling off the raw shrimp almost like cooking DOUGH , they have very small clusters for $84 I had to go home and season my own food ! As well online an extra cluster is 13.99 in restaurant total was $18.99 for a small cluster that softly CRACKED . On top of that no dipping butter or sauce just .50 cent gloves they provided please save your money I and my toddler now have woken up sick with food poison and on top of all this it was a piece of hair in my husbands food he couldn’t even eat! Don’t let the pictures fool you they are not the real restaurant pics on the menu and trust me without all those potato’s you will be able to see the the paper plate bottom plates are not full at all this was ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
