Aldi does not want to be reached and does not respond to customers regarding injuries in its stores. This is the 6th time that I am trying to get a response from Aldi to address the medical issues that I have from a fall in 2016. Not even a follow-up from any ALDI employee after I fell. I've given my name, phone, address and email contact and received no response in two years. However, Aldi did remove a previous post that I wrote. I am writing a letter of complaint to the Better Business Bureaus in Texas against Aldi.
I fell inside of the store on N. Tarrant Pkwy, Keller/Ft. Worth. None of the store employees came to help me when I yelled for help or stayed with me after I fell, nor followed up with me after watching me be lifted into the Medstar ambulance. I had to rely on the kindness of store shoppers to help me, keep me from going unconscious, call a friend for help, and wait with me until Medstar arrived.
I've contacted Aldi many times at the store in person, by phone, letter and email to get help with my medical issues. Aldi never responded. Store personnel will not give out any phone numbers and this Dallas location has an outgoing message only. Aldi does not want to be reached and does not respond to customers.
I slipped on a large batch of transparent oil in the aisle that was not visible with the eye until my clothes absorbed it. The store employee took my name and address, used something to absorb the oil on the floor and left me to the care of a store shopper.
One of the store personnel told me that each store has a different district manager and executives overseeing each individual store. This is a very top heavy retail structure. That explains why there are so few employees and why the floors are dirty.
The only positive when I used to shop there before I fell was that I could get in and out quickly. Cheap prices are meaningless when one's medical bills are in the thousands of dollars and ALDI will not even acknowledge that a fall ever happened. ALDI relies on people not having medical insurance to not file a lawsuit and go away...
Read moreI’ll never come back too this location EVER! Went here for the first time and they were extremely disgusting and rude. The manager came too me issuing that my dog used it in the bathroom I looked around before I left out and nothing was there and I was not the only person with a dog in the store at the moment. I explained to the manager that It wasn’t my dog and he got aggressive and said “we can argue and fight about it.” Like what? And he said if I weren’t too clean it up they were going too ask me too leave the store mind you I never denied. After all I cleaned up after someone else’s mess and isn’t that y’all’s job too? The man walked up too so aggressively and rude it was so disgusting and decided to follow me around my entire time shopping. Very uncomfortable. I got too the register and some Indian guy was rushing me too put my things up so he can scan them, and I told him I was still deciding on a few items and I put everything else up there and told me put them up there and I can decide later. He kept on looking at the price and was like “it’s 30 dollars now.” As if I couldn’t afford too pay for my food? It’s exactly why I stayed in the store for about an hour and when my dog was in the cart he slug the cart around aggressively too his side and not only that he didn’t offer me my receipt I had too grab it myself. This location is very empty and has no business and I honestly see why and as I was leaving he watched me the entire time. I will be contacting cooperate and taking this higher this is disgusting and absurd. This was my first time ever at this location and I was excited about my shopping at aldis but the workers ruined it with their poor service and horrible hospitality, I’ll never come back to this location and I don’t recommend they’re very very very rude and not only...
Read moreI cannot say enough about Aldi, so this may be long and repetitive. First, I contacted their HQ or whatever they would call it and practically begged them to open a store in Phoenix, AZ. All I can do now is HOPE they do, but I'm not holding my breath! I could not believe the prices. I could not believe the huge variety of their own products which, by the way, are fabulous in taste, quality, and anything else that's important to you. Before you enter, you put a quarter in a little box like you would for the children's rides outside some stores (well, maybe not so much anymore) and take a shopping cart. After checking out, you take your groceries to your car and load them, return the cart, and get your quarter back! Isn't that a great idea?? You do take your own bags (or boxes, I suppose) which is wonderful for the environment, especially if you use cloth or canvas bags. The employees are friendly and very helpful. PRICES: I don't have a receipt right here with me, but I know I bought plenty of $2 items for less than $1, and NOT because they are inferior products. Even produce is less expensive than the other stores, and again, great variety. If you have the chance to shop with Aldi, I hope you take advantage of it, and thank your lucky stars...
